I get emails regularly about the movie rewards. I just have not joined.

Good Morning and Happy Friday Cruisers!!!!

I feel a tad left out. I haven't received any e-mails from DCL. Oh well, it will come in time. But if it doesn't I still know what I am planning.

I've been a member of movie rewards for quite some time too, Becx. I redeemed my points for pins and some desk stuff (like a paperclip holder and business card holder).

This is the last weekend of relaxation for a while, and like Anne, and I suspect many in the midwest/northeast, the recent rain has brought my lawn back to life and it is growing at a fevered pace. Must mow it before it turns into a primeval jungle.

Yes Todd, jungle prevention is key! Trying to decide if I should cut again on Thursday night, pay someone to cut or wait until Monday next week. I have a very important engagement next weekend that requires my presence in Chicago.

I think it would depend on the weather, how you feel, what obligations you have prior to your trip, and how much it has grown.

I tend to find mowing the lawn to be relaxing, almost like meditation. So I would go for doing it, but that's just weird me.

Once I get started, it is okay. It is just such a major chunk of time for me, I dread it.

Weather is going to be the major factor in my decision. Oh all the decisions...

I have weedy vine that is threatening to take over my front door, that I need to attack with the clippers and Roundup. It loved the drought.

I pay two teenage brothers to cut my yard, though they don't do so well on some of the weed trimming up close to the house - as in the fore mentioned vine.

Survived Vacation Bible School week at Church - no major incidents this year.
Tonight is our Family Night Celebration - Sorta like the HoopDeeDo Review of the week with a Chicken Dinner and the Games and bouncy things for the Kids. We may even have a Horse Drawn Carriage there tonight - if our director ever got a hold of the church member who had offered to do it.

That is so cute!! I do DMR too but haven't redeemed anything yet - I've got my eye on the Cars sign for our rec room - 8,000 pts I hope they don't discontinue you it anytime soon!

Good (tired) morning!

I am so glad there is only three more days left of the film festival!

Yesterday afternoon I sort of napped through parts of a documentary.
Then stayed totally awake for second viewing for "3 Idiots". Great movie, 2 hours and 40 minuntes long. Then restored 1958 film "Big Country" in majestic Cinemascope. 2 hours 45 minutes long.

Got home after 12:30. Then I couldn't get to sleep until the birds started chirping. Very tired today!

I use Disney movie rewards to get movies for the library. Only makes sense. The codes came from movies purchased for the library.

I get DVC stuff about once a month.

Uh, yeah. I am tired...
I get no mail from DVC or DCL.

However.... I know that I am going a fabulous vacation in December and it includes DVC (Thanks, Tracey) and DCL (along with Tracey and many others)

I did get an offer from Disney Visa that seemd to good to pass up.
It said I would get a $200.00 Disney Gift card after credit card approval and first purchase.

I got a Disney Visa card three years ago. Got $40 for signing up them. Card expired and I never activated the new one.

So, I went online and applied for a new card. They sent me a new card. I will use it next time I charge something and see if it really works.
