Are you making your own FE? I made ours when the kids and I cruised last year and swore I would never do it again ;) I did the 'no sew' kind with the glue, what a mess! I'm on the fence about giving it a go again or just hitting up Ebay!

I made a standard 'no sew' version for PCC 1.0. It was harder than I expected. It turned out marginally better than I expected.

I was stuck with an idea (alright it was Gerardo who got the idea, but it exploded with pizazz once I took the reins) and the one for PCC 2.0 will be a little more fun.

Happy Saturday afternoon to all!

I've been up for hours already, but not much time to get to the computer.

Today is my oldest son's 23rd birthday! :dance3:
I made pancakes and bacon for him and his girlfriend this morning and we are taking him out for an early birthday dinner at Carrabba's later. Then they will hit the Philly bars tonight with friends.

It's just amazing to me that 23 years has passed already! :scared1: I still don't feel much older than that myself!

Todd's trip to Joann Fabrics made me start think about our own FE and door decorations. I'm going to start planning our magnets and decorations today. I am using the FE I made for our last cruise- just changing the cabin # on it (I used the iron on embroidered numbers from Joann Fabrics- easy to replace for each cruise!)

I also printed out the packing list for my DS#2- only 50 days til he moves down to WDW to be a lifeguard! Whoo Hoo! He's excited, but having so much fun this summer life guarding at the local YMCA day camp that he hates to see the summer go by so quickly. Kind of bittersweet. But I am excited enough for both of us! :cool1:

Wow! Seventy people in chat?! Wednesday Pete came back in late saying he couldn't follow earlier. Guess he does better with his insomnia?

I would have joined in, but I was using the iPad (no chat on iPad) and I didn't want to fire up the laptop.

I was tired after a full workday and two movies and needed rest for the four movies today.

The festival has 100 films in four theaters. Some are shown only once, most two or three times. It is a real challenge to read the descriptions and work out the schedule to see two dozen films. I pick mostly by description, trying to find what I hope will be interesting or entertaining.

Watched four more good films today.

Bollywood one, "3 Idiots" was excellent!

Four more tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I think I see "Bride Flight" from the Netherlands. Yvette or Emile know it?

Hi everyone :cool1:

I hope everybody is enjoying their weekend? So after not being able to sell my car through Gav's work friend we put an advert in the paper (and website these days:thumbsup2) and I had a couple of calls. Yesterday a family came to see it, they made us a good offer and it's sold :cool1:
I need to practice a bit more in Gav's car (it's newer than my car was and I need to get used to not having to brake as hard and turn the steering wheel so much )

Good morning peeps!

Just went through and reread some of the birthday cards I got last week. (belated birthday party) Still can't figure out why I'm given ones like this. I don't usually struggle.

Hello everyone. With this talk of FEs, guess I should get started on mine soon....bought the material last year, then just put it away.

Getting ours on ebay. :woohoo: Just lazy, I guess.

Today I finished the base of our FE - it now needs to be embellished!

For those of you who are interested in renting a car for the week of the PCC, Enterprise is having a deal on convertibles for $99/week. I believe it HAS to be an entire week rental, less than a week does not give the $99 pricing. It's a pretty good deal, unfortunatley I'm afraid we will not have enough room for the 4 of us and luggage in a 2 door convertible. There are no coupons or codes needed to get this price, it just pops up on the screen.

Thanks for this, I'll let DH know - he's the driver so it'll be up to him. He likes the big 4 x 4 type cars tho.

Morning all - hope you all enjoyed the weekend. It's a bit gloomy here today, overcast and spitting with rain but I'd rather have bad weather on a work day than at the weekend!

My countdown says 150 days until we arrive in Orlando (on the 9th) :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
That is 3600 hours or 5184000 minutes  and only 102 days left at work :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
