A magic cookie bar is a tray bake that is cut into large squares. It is made of a whole jumble of things, including chocolate chips, nuts, coconut, I think I remember oats, and held together by a butter/syrup mix. Then it has more chocolate drizzled over the top of it. It is only available at Port Orleans Riverside in Disneyworld (I believe, although it may pop up somewhere else in the parks?)
I tried it on our last trip and it was very, very, very sweet and very, very, very nutty! I did enjoy it but I only managed like a quarter of it, and I am very fond of sweet things! It hurt me to be beaten by it so quickly
If you like coconut, sweet things and nuts, give it a try, but buy one at a time you can eat some and then stow some away for later too.
Another Port Orleans exclusive sweet snack/dessert are the fresh-cooked beignets which are only sold in the food court of Port Orleans French Quarter. One night, get off the bus or boat at French Quarter, buy a box of beignets and then walk down the river path back to Riverside. You will get powdered sugar everywhere but it's a lovely walk (only about 10 mins max at a slow pace) with a tasty snack to keep you going!
If you try either of these treats, let us know what you think of them when you get back home
