PO Riverside to MK

We are taking a short trip in early December and staying at Port Orleans Riverside. The only park we are going to is the Magic Kingdom and it is not an EE day. We want to arrive as early as possible so should we drive our own car or take the hotel bus? Mk is open from 9-6 on the day we will be there.I have been to the parks many times but we usually stroll in around 10am. LOL After discovering these boards, I now know better!!!

I would take the bus. If you drive, you don't have to worry about waiting for the bus, but you've got to get from the TTC to the MK, which will take some time. The busses usually run fairly frequently, so the wait time shouldn't be too long, and the bus drops you off right near the MK (although POR's stop is the farthest one from the gates).

Buses will start running at 7:00am.

If you drive, you will be held back at the TTC until 8:45am.

Wow, I did not know they held you at the TTC that late. We will definitely take the bus. My kids will love that! Thanks for the info!
