PO French Quarter or Riverside's AB???

There are 4 adults...not couples...goint to Disney Nov. 20-27. We currently have reservations at Pop Century, but are now considering staying at a moderate resort because of the discount code.
I've been put in charge of choosing and have settled on Port Orleans, but can't decide between French Quarter or Riverside's Alligator Bayou.
No offense to families or parents, but we'd like the "most adult friendly" of these two. Also looking for convenience to bus, food, bar and pool.
If you can relate and can help, I'd be very grateful.
And please keep in mind, I'm new to this posting thing and a bit apprehensive.

For a few reasons:

It's smaller, just freshly renovated and although you'll find munchkins all over Disney POFQ does tend to draw adults traveling without little ones. I have stayed there without munchkins as well as the CBR - which is another good choice. POFQ gets my vote (not that it counts) as a an adult traveler right now because of the new renovations

BTW, we had a grand time at the bar/lounge. Terrific sax player - jazz mostly and just great. I'm not normally a drinker, but I enjoyed a few during the evenings at the POFQ. We looked forward to going back to the resort and relaxing with live music.

Also, often when I travel with friends, without little ones, we do not spend a lot of time at the parks - we often choose 2 (one always being the MK) and use the rest of our time for R&R. I love the little ones, but also like some adult time. Having said that, be prepared for little ones at the bar/lounge too! Esp young ones who are not yet in school.

At one res we did ask to have our table changed becasue a large family was seated next to us with tired, crying small ones. We felt bad, but the cm was very understanding and did not make a big deal of our request. Quietly moved us. I spent many years ar Disney with my children and it is ncie to be on the sidelines sometimes - but can hardly wait for gandbabies to take to see the Mouse!
So, Disney can be an adult vacation!
