Lara- I was very crank yesterday too. I was at the point where you knew you could break down crying because everything is just built up. I thought about going to bed but stayed up and watched a movie instead. Hopefully today will be a better day for both of us.

I have never gotten a single point on a thread started by anyone I've noticed on this thread.

It's always possible to avoid points if you are pure and chaste.

Good morning! No gym for me this morning. At home waiting for the pest guy. I guess I will have to go this afternoon when I take the boys to swim. I hate working out in the afternoon. grrrr.....

Anyone have anything exciting planned this weekend? I mean, aside from trying to avoid a hurricane.

Nice! DH's change of command is in two weeks so I have spend the weekend playing dutiful Navy wife and hosting a going away lunch for the outgoing skipper's wife. Then we have his farewell that night. I will be happy on Sept. 10th when this whole thing is done....and paid for.

Morning. I just finished talking to my high anxiety kids about the things they need to do to prepare for this weekend. There is only so much I can do to reassure them that we don't expect anything bad to happen but we have to be prepared. I was calm and actually downplayed the whole thing but it had little effect. They are both now at Red Alert Anxiety. It is going to be a long few days.


A wonderful new cupcake bakery has opened up pretty much right around the corner from me. I "liked" their FB page and their post this morning says they have Tiramisu cupcakes today (tiramisu is my absolute favorite). It is taking every ounce of will power I have to keep from going and getting breakfast. . . This place is going to be very dangerous.

It's so exciting to see all the old friends getting back together again! I sure have missed people! Welcome to all the new people also!

My DHH (dear house husband) had already refroze the chicken before I could give him a report from here on everyone suggestions. We'll just hope for the best! Thanks!

I have an appointment with my doctor today for my stupid eye! It's really annoying! DHH made me the appointment and is even going to go with me in case my eye is dialated and I can't drive.

For those that don't know, he was fired on May 12 ( our 27th wedding anniversary) after 27 years with his company. It was all over a stupid thing that he did. He's been looking for work and has had one interview with Boeing (where I work) He is still under consideration for 7 or 8 jobs with Boeing, it's just a waiting game now. He was denied unemployment, appealed that, had a hearing (which his former employer didn't even attend) and is now getting unemployment.

Doofus Jr is behaving herself today! She at least let me sit down and turn on my computer this morning before coming over and asking me something!

My mouth is watering just reading that....but you can defeat the craving. It has been my experience that those fancy cupcakes don't taste as good as they sound or look.

My only points I ever received didn't come from a PMS'r started thread! It had to do with moving sidewalks in Vegas, I believe!
