Hi. How is everyone today? Yesterday we were so busy. DH finally bought a new hedge trimmer and trimmed the hedges in the front of the house. We have been living here for 13 years and never properly trimmed the hedges.
I admit they sure needed it. Although he got a bit carried away with his new toy. He trimmed off way too much on the bottom, which resulted in even more work because a lot of leaves and garbage had collected under the hedges after all these years.

Allison and I raked the front yard and picked up all the dead branches from the last storm. Then I had to clean out from under the hedges. I would often tease DH and tell him we had to trim them real good cause they were so wild they would grab someone when they walked by and would beat them up. :rotfl2:

When the weather gets warmer and stays warm we plan on doing some painting. We also have to trim the hedge in the back yard by our deck and have a lot of yard work thats needs to be done back there too.

Sorry and embarrased to say that we haven't been real good about keeping up with all the yard work. I just did the minor stuff. Pulled weeds, cut the hedges with clippers, and DH cut the grass.

Our deck badly needs to be cleaned and waterproofed, and the garage needs to be painted. Want to have all this done before our family reunion. Wew!

Then of course there is still the inside. Don't even want to think about that.

We bought a sprayer for waterproofing our deck. Fill the sprayer with the waterproofer, start spraying, done in 10 minutes. Now we actually waterproof it as much as we should. :teeth:

:yay: :yay: I see you!!

What shall I shop for today? It has been awhile... :cloud9:

I need a pair of shoes - flats, neutral, that I can wear with jeans and are appropriate for work, and that are not as ugly as these plain brown loafers I wear all the time - you think you can find me a pair?

I could use a bathing suit to hide these extra pounds!

Thanks. Stupid question. Can you use the sprayer for cleaning too? What would you put in it? We have a double deck/lower level and one a bit higher. We where foolish enough to let it go long enough to where some portions developed green icky spots. :guilty:

Thank you.
I now know what I need to go out and buy. A sprayer for my deck. Also a few more flowers to add color to my front and back yard. :thumbsup2

We weren't in the actual roll, but neither were they (the sign carrying idiots). They are such bigots--why don't they concentrate on something positive. It makes me sick that they were carrying signs that the kids of the g/l parents could read. To protest what the adults are doing is one thing, but when it crosses over to affect the kids it really roasts my eggs! I meant to wear a rainbow ribbon in my hair, but forgot. :teeth:

Should have brought eggs with you and not the cooked kind either. Leave them outside for about a week ahead of time and have at it. :teeth: :duck: :crazy2: :faint:

You have to remember that people like that have issues, I think some of them are in the closet and afraid to come out. :lmao:

Their signs said that the gay/lesbians needed to "find Jesus". First of all, I didn't know he was missing! Send of all, they are assuming that none of the g/l are Christian. How insulting is that? I'm neither g/l or Christian, but I found the whole thing sickening. Why can't these families enjoy what everyone else was there for--a fun family event?

They are the type that if they aren't happy than no one should be happy. And it probably irks the heck out of them that these are happy families.

What do you think of these dresses from anthropologie? :teeth:

I like the middle one! Cute and kicky and lots of shoe options! :sunny:

Where is Miss Jasmine? And have any of you LL's talked to Cyndee lately? Just wondering how she's doing. :)

Luv, here I am! :thumbsup2 I just have been busy with WORK (how dare they??!!??!).

I love the middle one, but the exotic goddess in me also likes the first one.

I am going to go to anthropologie ASAP. Probably tomorrow....I'll let you know how it goes. The second one is my favorite too. I can see myself wearing it at WDW. :cloud9:
