Oh, Briarmom just had to link to anthropologie, didn't she?!!! :hyper: Stats: 5'6, size 6, no booobage, dark brown hair, light olive skin that deeply tans in the summer... OK, ladies--which one?
Woah, you sound like me, except I am 5'5".

I like the middle one.

I like the dress in the middle!!!!

I am making a cheesecake tomorrow for Easter.

Maybe some aerobics ahead of time are a good idea

I looooove anthropologie.

I like the yellow dress if you tan well. :thumbsup2

Ds has the day off of school or I'd take my friend there. I like to go without kids. :teeth:

I agree on the yellow dress if you tan well. I don't and it would look terrible on me, but it's an adorable dress! Waaaaaa, I wish I had darker skin and either darker or lighter hair.

I like all the dresses, but without booobs, I don't think the dress in the middle would look as good, but it's hard to tell without trying on.

I wish I were a size 5/6.

Geez, I'm having some jeaousy issues today, aren't I? :rotfl2:

I don't know, even with a tan yellow doesn't always look that good on me. I have never had any problems with halter-type dresses. I have had some issues with strapless dresses. But it could just be me. :lmao:

My fave so far is the yellow--it's really "me"--plus, I'd just HAVE TO buy new shoes and a handbag to go with!!! And it's called the Beebalm Dress--how cute is that?!!! I like the halter, too, but like T&B said, I'm not sure how good it will look up top--I guarantee I won't fill it out. Oh, and without being able to exercise since the torn Achilles/broken ankle thing, I'm really more like a 6/8. I've gained six pounds since I haven't been able to run, and without working out, my extra weight just won't budge--I like food too much to not eat. I actually went out back to get some sun today, and there's a new fat roll that hangs over the bottom of my bathing suit. And now with this stupid cast, I'll have one heckuva tan line to boot.

Miss Jasmine, I've seen your picture, and we do have a lot of the same coloring. Except you have these big gorgeous brown eyes, and mine are small, beady little things the color of green swampwater! :crazy2:

Merle--who is this fuzzy, black and white tree climber you're going on a date with?!!!

He's a cutie, alright, but I haven't seen him in person.

Oh please, I am sure you don't have beady eyes. ;)

Well then the yellow it is. It's very cute! :thumbsup2

My DD is home from college for the weekend and I quickly figured out why she brought home luggage for 2 days. She was home for 2 hours and was wearing her third outfit. Gotta love teenage girls! :teeth:

I love the first one - but I agree about ditching the red sash! The yellow one looks too "church dress" too me.

Hey! Where did everyone go? Just finished all my baking and came back to chat and everyone ran away? Proud of Allison she did a nice job with the cinnamon pull apart bread. My two cakes came out real nice if I should say so myself. :teeth:

guess I should move on and see what else is happening on other threads since there is no one to talk to here.

Steph, I kind of like the sash and don't forget, she lives in Georgia! :teeth:

Susan, I was all alone this afternoon for awhile on the thread. I was lonely without anyone to talk to.

I'm kind of bummed. I finally dropped enough hints to my DH that he "suggested" that I take Jake to WDW in early May when he (Jake, not my DH :) ) doesn't have Kindergarten for a long weekend, but now the fares are so high and I'm sure the room rates would be so expensive that I don't think I can swing it. I should have pushed it earlier, but didn't, so am kind of pissed at myself. I can do something local with Jake, but would rather just save the $ for when I can bring him.

I don't know. Maybe they're off having fun and they forgot to invite us!cI'm going to bed soon, though. I'm waking up early tomorrow since I'm going into DC to try and get tickets for Monday's Easter Egg Roll at the White House.

Hopefully I can get tickets and then Jake and I will go--if not maybe I'll bring Jake, anyway and we can do the free activities outside of the White House. Jake wants his wooden Easter Egg. We have a row of them in our family room (aren't we good Jews--don't tell my MIL :rotfl: ) and I want to buy one if they are selling them for my mother. She came to visit one year and she went with us and enjoyed herself and the next year came for the roll, but it got rained out. They are calling for rain on Monday, so it might get cancelled. :(

Good luck, I hope you get the tix.
Do you hide the eggs when MIL visits? I can see it now..you're hiding them and Jake's finding them and MIL's looking like this...

We didn't get the tickets. I talked to someone and they gave out vouchers at 4AM and even then people were turned away. I can't believe the demand and there is no way that I would camp out for them. If my mother had of been visiting and if I had of realized the demand and if my DD hadn't been home from college for the weekend, then maybe I would have camped out for tickets, but that's a lot of ifs! :) I might bring Jake downtown, anyway, and do the events that people can do that do not need tickets.

No, I don't hide the eggs when my MIL comes to visit. :rotfl: Truse me, just got a lot madder the time that she found out that we had a Christmas tree... :furious: That was a HUGE deal, as if it's any of her business. I could tell stories about that side of the family that would make your hair curl--from my DH's Orthodox brother who won't set foot in our house (literally) to his gay activist brother, who we get along with well and is a hoot. A really interesting family, to put it mildly. Fun when we all got together last summer for the first time ever. You should have seen my MIL when my DD was going to wear flip flops to the lunch (and an "acceptable outfit, orthodox standards) and I stood behind her. :lmao: Boy, oh, boy, crap hit the fan! :teeth: Anyway, that's a whole 'nuther thread, which was written about at the time. :rotfl2:

:rotfl2: I like your family! I'll bet your sister (the one who named your neighbor :teeth: ) gets along great with the inlaws too, huh?

Hi! Sorry things didn't turn out for you T&B. Sure does sound like a fun family to be around.
Be thankful you can have a relationship with DHs family. My DHs family are so evil I have NOTHING to do with them. I refuse to see, talk to, or acknowledge them at all.

My family on the other hand. they are the total opposite, just wish there was more of them. :rotfl:

Hi Susan :wave2:

My family dynamics are the opposite of yours. I love my inlaws and consider them my true family. My DSILS ae more like sisters to me than my own sister ever was or will be. On my side I only have my mom but DH has a big family and I love them all.

The ones who get along the best are my Mormon sister (not the one who named my neighbor ;) ) and my gay BIL. A very funny pair, but they get along great and really like each other.

When my MIL was going to make Aly change out of her flip flops for the lunch, I put my foot down and told her that we weren't going if she had to change and that we were doing all the giving (found an extremely kosher restaurant to have the meal, had it according to their schedule, etc) and she could wear the shoes or we were staying home. My MIL made it seem like it would be totally unacceptable to show up at the restaurant that way. We showed up and a family was there getting ready for a party later in the day and the teen/preteen girl had on shorts and flipflops. :rotfl:

Yep, funny family, as long as we live on the other side of the country as most of them. :teeth:
