Aha! Now I know and can put my mind at ease. :rotfl: Are you on the east coast? If so, that doesn't even qualify as morning around here. I tell my kids anything before 7:oo is still the middle of the night!
Yeah I am from PA! Weekends are another story, I like to sleep till 9:00 :cloud9:

Well, if you look anything like I do at 7 o'clock, you might be embarrassed too!

redshoes--maybe that is it! Hmmm, now I feel like big brother is watching me.

Gotta go make meatloaf for dinner now!

Evening all. I just got back from the doctor. He gave me good stuff  Xanax is my friend :cloud9:

Yes, Xanax and Celexa. I have an appt with an actual psychiatrist on the 12th. I hope this stuff kicks in quickly. Dh can't seem to get the concept that I can't just snap out of this. He doesn't get that I'm not just being a witch with a capital B. The thing is, this isn't the first time I've been depressed, he's just been working on the road and not been here to see it. He's one of those that thinks I just need a swift kick in the butt and not medication. :sad2:

Shug-
I'm proud of you (not that you should care) for getting to the Doctor. I hope that the drugs work perfect and that you're back to feeling great soon.

it's hard for a lot of men to understand - sorry he doesn't "get" it - but when he sees your spirits improve, I bet he'll be won over!

hey redshoes! Thanks for asking about my MIL - y'all are so supportive - I love this thread![to the tune of Toby Keith's "I Love This Bar"] :rotfl:

Wow, sounds like she's got it rough :rotfl:.

Shug, my sister was on Xanax and celexa. She said the Xanax kicked in almost right away. The celexa takes longer, but then it stays in your system and evens out your moods long term. She liked the celexa better and went off Xanax after a couple of months.

Good luuck. My sister's depression (mostly anxiety attacks actually) was fairly short-lived. It is now 2 years later and she is off all medication. I wish you luck.

STEPH!!!!! How are you and those bubbly jubblies??

I'm good! My bubbly jubblies are not bubbly and jubbly enough, lol! I have some serious boooby greed going on. :rotfl2: Are you lovin' that Xanax? That is some gooooood stuff! Hopefully it will work out really good for you. I took it a long time for anxiety/depression, and it helped me out a lot. I hated coming off the stuff though! :teeth:

Hey redshoes! Speaking of you, I just bought some red shoes today at Mervyns! They are so flippin' cute, but I totally thought of you when I bought them, lol! Kindergarten is going good so far - we're only 3 days into it, so we'll see! Now if I can somehow figure out how to pay for preschool for my youngest, I'll be dialed in! It's so darn expensive here. The cheapest I've found is $80 a week, for only 2 full days!

Holy cow!! It is only like $85 a MONTH around here. Shoot--how can anyone afford that? I hope the teachers are paid well.

WOW, $80 a week- are you kidding. Z's preschool is $55 a month for three days a week for 3.5 hours. It works out to be less than $1.50 an hour for preschool for him (somedays I feel like they are getting the short end of the stick on this deal). The price wasn't a huge factor, it is a great school and he will love it- but $55 a month seems like a bargain to me now. The more I think about it the more I've decided for $80 a week, Z would have to be able to sing showtunes, play professional golf, and be able to do algebra before he hits kindergarten.
I so need a pair of cute shoes, maybe I'll have to check out Mervyns. Shoes are easy, the rest of it is tricky. I'm turning 29 this week and I struggling with the whole what does a 29 year old Mom wear that still looks cute and trendy, but doesn't look like a high schooler who has age a bit too fast.

edited because maybe if my Mom paid $80 a week for preschool I could post a message without needing to edited it after.

Yep - $80 a week for two stinkin' days. And there's the $100 "registration" fee. I'm having a hard time paying that kind of money for only 2 days a week! And omg, don't worry about the age thing girlie, for pete's sake you're only 29! I'm almost 32 and I still wear stiletto heels, sexy tops and low-cut dresses (every now and then of course!). Enjoy it as long as you can, because at some point, we'll be in our 50's and such things won't work for us anymore. Well, maybe, depending on how great a surgeon you have and how much money you're willing to pay! :teeth:
