Morning! It is going to be a quiet week around here I think.
Ds is doing his writing practice. It's our first homeschooling day! :)

hope your first day as a homeschooler went well!! We had our first day today too. The boys were raring to go and DD was a bit hmmm, starts with a b ends with a y, until I pointed out to her the facts of life--also known as "stop griping at me or I will give you extra assignments." :rotfl:

I currently have my children running laps around the house while I wait for a reply from DH to see if he can buy cheese on the way home so I can make pizza. man, I am sick to death of cooking dinner.

Disneymom3, how's your aunt doing?

She seems to be doing okay for now, thanks. MIL has figured out the timing for getting her up here and is in process of making arrangements for some shots she may have to take while she is here. (I can't remember what they are called though.) I had thought MIL was going to try to move her up here for the long term but now it sounds like they are just planning about a week to get some fresh perspective on things. I sent MIL the links etc you gave me, but she did not say anything about it, so I don't know what is up with that.

Teva I was at Cheesecake Bistro at 12:30 and you never showed up! You were supposed to be buying! I had bread pudding and brought home a hunk of hawaiin for later. MMMMMMMMMMMM

I forgot! Tig was suppose to remind me. You can't trust her anymore. :sad2:

I'm sorry, Sugarbritches.

If she's getting Avastin shots, she can thank me!! I tested a new formulation of it and it saved my life.

On the way home I saw an SUV with a vanity plate that read "4T&B" and wondered if it was her! Had lunch with MeanLaureen today, we pigged on cheesecake and pasta, bought out the store at Yankee Candle and got tasty treats for our furbabies. I LOVE that mall. They are actually very dog friendly! You can take your dog in about 95% of the stores and most of the restaurants have outdoor seating areas where you can dine with your dog too. I spend waaaaaaaay too much but it's a blast! Especially when you spend it with ML and Reilly! :thumbsup2

It was fine. I couldn't do it if there wasn't a set curriculum, but it went very fast. Ds came into my room today and said 'Mom, we are late for school!' I told him it didn't matter when we did school. We could do it whenever we got up and ready.
The whole thing was very quick, but I think it will start to take longer eventually. Plus we just did our first Arabic lesson and we will review review review every day.
I will give it time before I start doubling up on lessons....well, maybe 2 math lessons tomorrow since it said it should take about 30 minutes and it took 10.

Merle-Sorry about the crabs. :guilty:

I've missed a lot.

I didn't know you were home schooling, BM. Good luck with it. :thumbsup2

DM3, I didn't know your Aunt was sick, I'm sorry to hear that.

Hi Angel and Redshoes :wave2:

Now? :confused3
We have always known the truth. :smooth:

I wish my laryngitis would go away. It is making it harder to teach.
