I just made a little joke about how I took Perla on a date to the 1900 park fair on the 4th of July and how the 1900 park fair only had 2 guest on the 4th of July ect. ect. ect. and by reading some of the posts it almost seems like they don't understand that my thread was just meant to be a cute and funny joke.

If so, keep reading. If not, you might want to skip this paragraph. No, it didn't come across as a joke to me. It came across as you going to Park Fair with your animals for yet another meal with Perla.... You are entitled to have all your meals there, for all I care and I'm not going to give you a bad time about it. But don't expect people to know when you are joking when it's not the least bit obvious. You stated something as fact and expected people to read your mind and know that you were joking. I know that humor is subjective and plenty of my humor is not understood, so read this with that in mind, but I don't get how your post about your meal was cute or funny. I'm not trying to be mean, just honest. You asked for opinions, so I'm giving my opinion.

I have talked to a few other people and they could see that my post was a joke and they could not believe that people would take my thread so serious. I have talked to these people threw pm.

But the "husband" of the woman who keeps complaining about smokers comes on and posts that he is going to fart on people when he goes to WDW. And she/he's totally SERIOUS about this threat.

All I gotta say is you folks better watch out as I have a bowel disorder and so next time we are in the parks, you all better have your gas masks on because I am going to give your stinky smoke a run for its money! It's coming out at all possible times - no more going to the bathroom or the privacy of my room as you people have proven that personal rights supercede social responsibility and common courtesy, so beware!

I saw that! Oh, my...

I don't like smoke, either, but to say that he's going to fart to pay them back? Must be killer farts! That was one of the funniest things that wasn't supposed to be funny I've ever read on the DIS.

One time we were sitting in a smoking area at Universal. Once we realized it was smoking we were going to leave, but instead my sister and my daughter started pretending to smoke--the whole thing, including throwing the cig butts on the ground and putting them out with their feet (couldn't even put them in the proper place ). It was so funny. Of course anyone watching would have thought it was stupid, but they actually embarrassed the heck out of me. One of those goofy vacation memories that will stick with me.

Kim, I went through that with my DW, only hers was cervical cancer, they did 2 procedures including freezing and removal of the cells, I dont know if they still do it that way or not, but I do know how much pain she was in, and DW does not have a high tollerance for pain .... Frog has been through worse with his DW ... so in no way would we think it was to much info .... and I do hope you get some rest ....
