Hey! That kitty litter cake always goes over really big. They ate the whole thing last time! I'll post the pic later today.

I tried on a pair of crocs. They were waaaaay too wide for my feet and I thought I had wide feet already. :confused3

Make a triffle with chocolate pudding, raspberries, brownies and cool whip. It's super easy, especially if you buy the brownies premade. Takes about 15 mins to make but looks more impressive and you get to tell people in a snotty tone of voice that you made a triffle :rotfl2: . If you want the step-by-step instructions let me know.
:lmao: I like the way you think :lmao:

What did I miss?
I was at my best friends house on Friday night and last night I went to the Steve Miller Band.
Good times. :thumbsup2

If I have enough ripe blackberries I could make trifle with those. Maybe I couldn't use the same snooty tone of voice...only semi-snooty. :rotfl2: Except I'm lazy and don't want to go to the store. I do have a box of lemon bars (a mix)--I wonder how bad those are... :confused3

Good grief! I leave for a couple of days and you all are talking about Crocs. :sad2:
Have you learned NOTHING from me?

I know, Briar, I was disappointed, too. :sad2: Even though I did join in and talk about the flip flops. Don't hold it against me, please.

I did the same thing at our last dinner party!!! :rotfl:

There's also a fake tiramisu that's easy to do. I dip lady finger cookies in espresso, and then alternate layers of cookies and cool whip in a pretty casserole dish. Then I dust some cocoa powder on top and let it cool in the fridge for a few hours. I'm a complete disaster when it comes to making desserts but my friends seem to like this one.

Help. DH just put the movie "8 Below" on. I cannot watch movies if animals get hurt or die. Should I not watch? Tell me, please.

I was also hoping this was a thread safe from the croc frenzy, but I guess nothing is safe from crocs. Well, my feet are because I'll never wear them! They remind me of Freddy's mask in Friday the 13th!

Taking a break from cleaning. I just had to clean the most disgusting thing. Somebody - probably my parents when there were here last week - put food in the trash compactor. The kind of food that attracts flies, who like to leave baby flies. So I go downstairs this morning, and about 20 maggots were having a party on my kitchen floor. Thank God Chris came home, cause it was all I could do not to hurl. Blech!

I think you may want to sit this one out. I do not know for sure (haven't seen the movie) but I think there is a death.

I'm into it! I'm into it! Quick somebody tell me how many die! If I'm warned I'll be able to watch it.

You know what my DH did earlier? He was sitting at the table and knocked his water glass over. Instead of grabbing Jake's beach towel that was on a chair at the table, he ran to get a towel or paper towels from over by the sink. That was ditzy enough, but understandable. I saw what was going on and walked over and used the available towel, but what surprised me, was his cell phone was in the puddle of water. He'd left it there, in the middle of the puddle, instead of scooping it up when the water first spilled. :confused3 So I grabbed it, dried it, and took the battery out. When I asked him why he left the phone there he said that he didn't see it and I shouldn't say anything to him about his phone. I almost tossed it into the toilet. Oh, and it's a brand new phone, so it's not as if he's due for a new one.

Howdy stranger. :teeth:

Teva-I don't know. I've never seen it.

T&A-Men. :sad2:

OK, I am taking the kids to the lake. I don't want to, but it will give us something to do.
See you later!

I can't believe I missed a whole Crocs conversation before Briar showed up and put the kibosh on it.
