Hmmmm, well. I think it went something like this:

DWM 42 seeks a real woman. Must be willing to put up with cantankerous, stubborn former addict with no people skills who refuses to change. Monagamy a must.

It came in a package that had ocean blue eyes to die for, big ****s, a heart as big as all outdoors and a way with animals and cranky introverts. It didn't hurt that she could cook like a world class chef and fed my sweet tooth. And she made me laugh. Something I hadn't done in years. And what man could ever resist a damsel in distress? It's not always easy but life with you is never dull. That's exactly why I love you.

By the way, the doughnuts are great. Everyone loves them and they were gone by 10. What's for dinner?

BTW he's not nearly as romantic as he wants you to think but I think I'll keep him anyway.

Dinner is spaghetti with sweet/hot italian sausage meatballs, spinach and mushroom salad and sourdough bread. I'm not making dessert tonight. You have coffee cake and strawberry pie to finish up.

I have a question for the ladies ...... DW is pissed at me, I dont kow why, maybe one of you will have a clue ......

This week .....

I have cleaned the house, fixed supper 3 times, cleaned up supper dishes, made the kids do thier chores, a big limb fell out of one of the big pecan trees, I cut it up and moved it to the burn pile, mowed the yard, sold 2 trucks, collected on a parts bill, and oh yes, I have the laundry caught up and last night I fixed her a warm bath with candles .....


and I am still in the damn dog house !!!!!!!!!!!

If there something else going on in her life right now that's not related to you? The reason that I ask is that sadly my DH is the dumping ground for things that he has no control over, sometimes. I get stressed about the boys or the house or my hair (okay maybe not the last one) and I take it out on him. He could be doing everything perfect at the time, but something little sets me off and bam we have an fight about the fact that he didn't line the trash can when he took the bag outside. Honestly, ask her what's wrong and if she tells you just listen. Don't try to fix it- sometimes we need someone to just listen to the stupiest details of our lives because we just do.

Dh and I have had a hard time getting a minute alone. The kids are just too excited. We are also staying in Cairo this 'weekend' so we are sharing the apartment with 2 other guys.

I haven't really gotten to see too much yet. It is definately different. We went to the top of our building (this is just the apartment we will use on the weekends) and I saw 4 pyramids.

I am having a beer! It is Sakara (which is Egyptian) and it's all we have left. We called to get some delivered (even McDonalds delivers here) and it is an Islamic holiday so there is no beer to be had. We are going to try some other places so we can relax with a beer after the kids go to bed.

So what time is it there and what day is it? How are the kids doing with the whole, "we live in BFE" thing? I'm so happy that you and DH are together again (even if it is in the middle of BFE). I feel like I need to break out into song, "Reunited and it feels so good, Reunited.....".

Kate, I got the answer at lunch, P M S, and her bosses wife was giving her a hard time at work, that ***** puts her in a bad position at times, the owner of where she works is my fire chief and we are good friends, so he sent her to take his cat to the vet to give her a break, when DW came home for lunch she apologized, and I told her no need, we all have bad days, and she told me I would get a reward for cleaning the house warm bath for her tonight .... AGAIN

Kate, I got the answer at lunch, P M S, and her bosses wife was giving her a hard time at work, that ***** puts her in a bad position at times, the owner of where she works is my fire chief and we are good friends, so he sent her to take his cat to the vet to give her a break, when DW came home for lunch she apologized, and I told her no need, we all have bad days, and she told me I would get a reward for cleaning the house warm bath for her tonight .... Chuckiebear--I agree with Red, it's rarely about what's going on right then. That's why men are bigger and tougher than we are. So they can take the frustration we sometimes have no one else to take out on. My grandpa was a minister. When he married people he would say Eve was created from Adam's rib; from his side that she might be his partner and equal, from under his arm that he might protect her and from near his heart that he might love her. Unfortunately, she was not made from his brain that he might understand her
