Crocs shot?
OK...I TOTALLY read that as "crotch"
FYI - I know some of you (Paige, Froggy, etc) have expressed interest in DFW DIS meets. It's still being worked out, but it sounds like we've got one in the making
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1660576 . Of course if some of you ever come to town, we'd have a special meet

.
I'll be in Grapevine Texas next November, at the Gaylord Texan
Ellery thinks that day is night and night is day. Breastfeeding is a nightmare. My hormones are all over the place and I've been crying a lot. Kevin ruined Christmas by coming over to my parents house and seeing everything I had planned on getting him for Christmas so now we're not even going to exchange presents. My head hurts. My ta-tas hurt and are leaking. I can't wear a shirt for more than an hour without having milk running down it. And that's with wearing those pad thingies. Ellery is still not latching on good. When she's awake I can't seem to satisfy her because she will only eat for a few seconds at a time and then let go and get frustrated. I feel like it's my fault.
Other than that, she has gained 8 oz this week and is very healthy. Thrush is gone, jaundice is gone and the eye infection is better. I got to get a few hours of sleep today while my parents watched the baby and fed her a bottle for me. That's really all I wanted for my birthday anyway. Hopefully I can feed her and take a shower, that would make me feel a lot better I think.
Oh, babe, it will get better....I know that the first few weeks were always the worst for me. You're so tired and hormonal. If you haven't tried it yet, I'd take Robin's advice of pumping a little. Another suggestion, nurse laying down or using the football hold. It's less painful for you and you can relax more. When you relax, she'll relax a little more.
Angel...you made me cry.
TTA...I'm the nice one, anyone who says differently gets a butt whoopin'
So I'm at my MIL's house. Had DH's family Christmas today...we had ten kids ages 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 and 2 months. It was a tad noisy and chaotic, but it was wonderful.
DH gave me my gift tonight. He gets massive bonus points and lots of eye contact for this one. He took the pictures from our April Disney World vacation and had them made into the most beautiful bound book. He did all the layout himself. He must have spent hours and hours and hours working on it. Now I remember why I love him. He knows my family and Disney are my two favorite things and he found a way to capture both in one gift. Even if it wasn't that expensive, I think it's the best gift he's ever given me.
So now I have the two kids in bed with me, knocked out, and I got to catch up here.
