:lmao: :lmao: See, and I thought we had a newbie with great big kahunas who wanted to just jump in to the group acting normal.

Hi. :wave2: I feel icky. I've been a little sniffly the last couple of days, but today I feel like full-blown crap.

I made scrambled eggs with fried potatoes, onions, and green peppers. Oh, and sausage. And toast. By the time I was done cooking it I was too tired to really want to eat it.

AWwww crap. Sorry. I didn't realize that my kid was signed in.

(It's me, threep)

:lmao:

Home from shopping and got the Christmas tree decorated. What a differance a day makes, much quieter out there. Went to JoAnn's again to pick up some stuff for work, then Target for a few more things. Then on to Trader Joe's for bread and tortilla chips. I think I have a new love, for chips that is. I got some organic yellow corn tortilla chips and they are soooo good. Nice and crispy and salty too.

Now I have to make heart, diamonds, clubs and spades for decorations for my work holiday party.

Hi there. Typing around a cat on my chest. I love cat love.

My husband and oldest son make their own tortilla chips from corn tortillas. And dh makes the salsa.

My parents eat like teenagers! We are out of bread and peanut butter and jelly already! They've made an impressive dent in the cereal, and we are down a gallon of milk. It's amazing. Mom is now currently complaining about the lack of groceries. I reminded her she was going to pick me up at noon tomorrow, and she's now upset that she doesn't know how to get there (although she's been to my school a dozen times) and I haven't a printer to print her a map. I told her I'll write directions.

BTW, I parent all wrong. When civilization collapses because of my child rearing habits, my mother will be the sole survivor saying "I told you so" amid the wreckage. ;)

ETA: And I have a migraine.

i'm full.

Is it their brand? I'm always on the lookout for good food. :) And we go through tortilla chips so fast.

I know what you mean! This was me trying to DIS the a few days ago!

That's about what I looked like earlier. My non-lap cat decided to be a lap cat for a little while and it sure made typing difficult. :rotfl:

If the PMSer who made the really ugly but funny cake is still posting and would like to pm me the recipe, I'd be eternally grateful. I had it around here but damned if I can find it.

I want to make it for Christmas Eve day.

I don't remember what it was, just that I really wanted to make it one of these Christmas Eves.

I'd search the thread, but it is kinda...flippin...LONG.

If not, carry on. :) :) :)

p.s. I saw some pics on the trip report.

T&B, you look like a good friend of mine. So much so that I showed her. She is the Financial CEO for a huge real estate company - makes a fortune. Have you considered that line of work? Food for thought! :rolleyes1 ;) :) I kid. Her job is so boring to hear about. But you do look like her!!!!

Teva, I thought you were about 23 years old. I like you even better now. :)

Was it bigmerle with the long hair and cute bangs? I  me some bangs - you go, girl!

bye!

My cat is not a lap cat either but she is mellowing in her old age. She has been laying right next to me these last few weeks and this last week sh e has been climbing on top of me.

OK! Who made the Ugly but funny cake??? I want to see it!
Gee Cool-Beans. Why don't you just use Search? :confused3 :rotfl2:
