Back from getting the microwave. Its nicer than the old one and smaller too. The old one was ginormous!

Picked up a set of headhones too so I can watch a movie on the plane and hopefully drown out the airplane noise.

I have so much to do.

:wave2:

I'm grumpy, I have a headache, and I'm about two seconds from a nervous breakdown. How's everyone else? :)

Tiff, you can have some of my sleep since I slept 12 hours and want to go back to sleep. My day went from super busy to hardly anything since Jake doesn't feel well (so didn't go to religious school and we're not going to Zach's first baseball game today) and then the second game was cancelled due to the field conditions. All I have to do is to bring Ben somewhere later and decide if Jake is ok enough to go to his swimming class that starts tonight.

I'm depressed.

Last night at dinner my dh was telling me that he read an article in the local paper about a woman who he believes is the daughter of Chrissy who is some one we went to school with and is our age.

I asked him why he thought it was Chrissy's daughter and he said because Chrissy's daughter's name is the same as the one in the paper and she would be the same age which is 31.

I said "Thirty-one! Chrissy can't have a daughter thirty-one!"

He looked at me like I was nuts since our daughter's thirty-five.

Thirty-friggin'-five. I forgot how old I really am. :sad1:

Just convince yourself that your DD is really your husband's from his first marriage (assuming that you are his first marriage). That way you can trick yourself into believing that you're really not so old. :thumbsup2 ;)

I'm still trying to convince myself that she didn't spring my loins.

I just can't wake up today. I don't want to go back to sleep since I know 12 hours of sleep was already too much, but I just don't want to do anything. I think that sleep is winning out. Please someone call or text me in a little while to wake me up.

I think there is something wrong with me...it's already nuts around here with the new puppy (we already had one dog and a guniea pig).

Now, we've signed DS up for winter swim which luckily starts in January and now we are thinking about signing him up for tae kwon do.

Does someone have a screwdriver handy? Because I need my loose screw tightened.

Oh...yea...I made the plane reservations for our anniversary trip.:dance3:

ok so the living room is now company friendly..although we are not having company....4 loads of laundry down...still havent made the peanut brittle..stopped to make lunch (frozen pizza) and spent 40 mins talking to my kids about the disney trip.

Hey all :grouphug:

WHat's up with Ash's shower? Is it tonight now?

eta: Anybody? Yes, no, maybe?

Pixie, it's now time for you to be thankful that you have one child. ;) :rotfl: Before Jake got sick and we had the cancelled baseball game, this is what my day looked like... 10-12 Jake's religious school, 2:30 Zach's first baseball game. 4-5:15 Ben post-confirmation class, 7PM Jake's stroke and turn class for swimming, 7:30PM Zach's second baseball game. The 2nd game and the swimming happened to be at the same park, so at least I could have gone to part of the game. :faint: I'm still hoping that Jake can go to swimming--will depend how his throat feels and if he has a fever (no fever at this time).

Good job on the chores, teo! I did a lot yesterday, which felt good. I need to get ahead of the game today since I have two dr appts tomorrow that will take up a lot of my day and then I leave on Thursday. I do like to leave the house somewhat put together when I'm off on one of my adventures. :)

I rested in bed for a little while and then decided that I couldn't waste my day away (and I remembered the advice you gave me earlier, teo :thumbsup2 ), so I had an attitude adjustment, took a shower, and am now ready to get moving.

I'm off to bring Ben to his class. Later chickeroonies. :wave2:

yay tig....sometimes you just have to push back ya know what I mean? Im glad it helped even if it was just a little bit.
I have a busy week too....tomorrow have to get my car all cleaned up to take itt o the body shop..we decided since the damaghe is minimal we are just going to take the money and since DH does this at work he and a friend can fix it. Tuesday I have an appt with the surgeon. Wednesday Im not sure but there was something. Thursday dentist for me. Friday...company comign from out of town..then that evening fall festival where my kids went to Elem Schoool. Saturday my company (bff/cousin) will find something to get into. Sunday she will go home and I will be sad again LOL.

Funny when I have good days and get on the ball tohandle things, I then end up with a very busy week. I need to learn to pace myself .

ok off again until JAW goes to work for some much needed overtime....WOOOT
