Pixie, me call? I was texting poor Paige today when I was at Sam's...it was either that or start crying in the store.

I need to make myself leave now. I was even so desperate that I tried to get DH to come with me. He can't, though. OK, I'm going to put one foot in front of the other and leave.

Do you guys mind if I brag on my kid for a minute to cheer myself up?

She has been working her way into the local professional orchestra scene. There's an orchestra about an hour away that gave her a contract for their first two performances this season, the first of which is this weekend. She was at the rehearsal for it on Tuesday night, and the conductor told her that they had decided to extend her contract, because they're pleased with her.

I'm really proud of her.

That's great LB! What a talented daughter you have!

I decided to call my psych and see if we can up my meds. Keep in mind that I've NEVER called her before (even though she's told me to if I'm having a tough time), so this shows my mood and desperation. I've lowered my anti-anxiety med because it was making me so sleepy all day long and she might not be too happy about that, but it wasn't helping my mood to want to sleep all day, ever day, either.

I love AK. I love the Festival of the Lion King, & I love Dinosaur.

I also like it's tough to be a bug and Kali River Rapids if it's hot out.

But It's not usually an all day place for us. The parade is weak.

I love AK too and it is a do it and done in one day park. I love the zoo so it is just like going to a fancy one for me. Although I have to say, NO Dinosaur or Kali River for me!

We went from 9/22-9/29. We had annual passes, had a good time, so we scrounged up a good airfare and booked 10/27-10/31. I'll be gone by Wednesday, late afternoon.

Where are you staying? We get there on the 30th! We will be doing nothing really in the morning, but then hitting Epcot late morning to mid afternoon.

On the AK issue, I know lots of people don't like it, but it's really grown on me. Actually, for whatever reason, that seems to be the park where hubby and I have had the best couple time over our last 2 or 3 trips. It may just be coincidental that we were at AK on a good day, but it just has a laid-back, relaxing vibe to me, and I've got good memories there.

VZ----IT looks like it is supposed to rain on the 31st for MNSSHP!!!!

Aw nuts. Maybe it won't be bad. It's a little hard to forecast detail this far out. Give it a few days and they'll know better what it will do at that time of day.

Well, went to take pics of Thing 2's class all dressed up for their costume parade in theater arts. There were 3 spidermen, him and the rest were costumeless. So the teacher, who was Cat in the Hat, had wearable letter signs, and she put those on them and some spider hats they had made, so they were all letters. So 3 spidermen and a bunch of spider letters, and then my son. Guess what he was..............TIGGER! You knew it had to be Disney.

In my class, I have a scarecrow, two brides, a gypsy and a maid (I think both of those were supposed to be witches, but since no witches are allowed, they left hats at home and called themselves something else), a wrestler, Superman, Hello Kitty, a black cat, one kid with something drawn on his face and arms.......don't have a clue what he is and you can't understand him, a football player, a girl in a poodle skirt, and some school kids.

Oh yeah, the Finding Nemo show (the one Tig mentioned) is awesome. I love that show. There is quite a few things I like there. Like LB said, its growing on me. I love just meandering down the paths taking in the sites and animals. It's relaxing to me.

Another thing too, is any one interested in going over to Trails End for lunch or dinner one night.

I find AK to be relaxing. It has grown on me since it has been open, and I hope to see more come to that park.

I tried to see the Nemo show last May, and I was their that Sunday and a couple of performers were out, and no show it was my last day in WDW, so I hope to see on my next trip

sitting in the CCU waiting room with free wi-fi. My sister is here and has seen my Mom and the girls saw her too. My sister was surprised how she looked, she had no clue really what condition she was going to be in. She was thinking coma. Alana and Kathryn did well, both hugged my Mom. Alana cried, which agitated my Mom. She s back sedated again. No doctors have been in yet today. They tried turning the o2 down, but she didn't tolerate it well.
The smoke from the fires is really bad. We are probably about 10 miles away from some of them.
