Tom's foot got eaten by the lawnmower this morning, and I'm heading from one hospital to the other. They couldn't stitch him up in Celebration, and he needs to go in for surgery. He's being transferred now, and I ran home to change out of my costume into more comfy hospital friendly clothes.

I decided to call my psych and see if we can up my meds. Keep in mind that I've NEVER called her before (even though she's told me to if I'm having a tough time), so this shows my mood and desperation. I've lowered my anti-anxiety med because it was making me so sleepy all day long and she might not be too happy about that, but it wasn't helping my mood to want to sleep all day, ever day, either.

Tig, have you ever talked to her about taking your anxiety meds at night? That has made a HUGE difference for DD. She takes it about 8:00 at night which is around an hour before she goes to sleep.

Caro called me a little while ago and her mom does indeed want to be taken off the breathing tube. My heart is breaking for you Caro.

Julie, I take a split dose of the anti-anxiety med. She really wants me on a total of 2 a day, up from the one I was taking. I managed to get up to 2/3 in the evening and 1/2 in the morning, but I was too sleepy, so I dropped all the way back down to what I was on before seeing her last time--2/3 at night and 1/3 in the morning. I can probably up the evening dose some as long as I take it early enough it's not in my system too much. Maybe I'll try that tonight.

I brought all 3 of my boys to the shelter to play with the kitties. My boys had a great time, the kittens got a bonus play time, and I had fun watching them all.

I need to get busy with dinner since DH is taking Jake to a Halloween party tonight (I asked him and he actually said yes) so I should make something.
