He was feeling pretty good compared to yesterday. Then he was standing and grabbed the chair, went pale and was in obvious pain. Then it went away but he didn't feel as good as he did before that. All in all much better than yesterday though. Thanks for asking. How's your mom?

I think I just need to go to bed tonight. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow. I'd prefer to just disappear.
ETA, for those of you who aren't aware, my 17yo son has Tourette's. The courage that he shows on a daily basis can put the rest of us to shame.I think it's time to take a xanax or two to add to my percocet and just go to bed.
Come to msn. I found the dead people still talking.![]()
So.......what's that make me then?
Paige you are not like the people I mentioned. You have stuck around, worried and have done everything in your power to keep things going good for your kids, for your DH , and for you.
My Paigey, that makes you in a totally different place than Shug. Different circumstances. Different relationship. You can only give so much of yourself without getting anything back. I don't know how you've lasted as long as you have.![]()
Someone in a different situation than what they were referring too.
You don't need to disappear anywhere. And you are so right. He is a remarkable child. Graduating early, one of the youngest in his class, he took my son completely under his wing, though he's almost 5 years younger and showed him the ropes, heck, the kid even has his own business and has had for a couple of years!!!!! He's personable and enjoyable and charismatic. His accomplishments would be remarkable for any kid his age, but for a kid with his challenges, they're downright incredible! You be proud mama Tig.I think I just need to go to bed tonight. Maybe I'll be back tomorrow. I'd prefer to just disappear.
