Ok so my stupid sister is applying for disablity based on the fact that she has a terminal disease. Or as the paperwork says "expected to end in death". Her terminal disease? Anorexia Sure, let's just give her permission to starve herself to death right now because you know if she gets better poof goes the disability. And she wants ME to write a statement supporting her?? OH HELL NO!!

Five years now I've tried to get disability at least on a temporary basis. Five years now I've been turned down because my Dr refused to tell the judge she expected me to die. She said she didn't want to put that kind of finality on it when I was struggling so hard to live.

But my sister decides she wants to die from anorexia and the social security administration is falling all over themselves to throw money at her And now she wants me to sign on to MSN because she wants to "talk" to me and tell me what to write in my statement and how to answer the questionaire they are supposed to send me. And to whine about how mean I was in my last email. I hate her.

That sister of your sounds like a real character.

I could get behind this if she was looking to take some time, get inpatient treatment, outpatient therapy, get herself together and go from there. Sure, you bet I think she should get temp disabilty. My problem is in the fact that she's decided to use the terminal disease route and that she's not planning on seeking further treatment. I screamed at her and told her she might as well just go shoot herself because she just got the government to fund her slow painful suicide. Then I hung up on her.

Yes, I'm pissed off and bitter.

I just put Thing 2 to bed. He always wants me to pick a different stuffed animal for him to sleep with. So tonight I gave him crickee from Mulan. Then I told him "Night night, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite." He then said, "This is a bedbug." I said "No, we don't have bedbugs, it's just something we say." He said, "Crickets are bugs, and it's in my bed, so it's a bedbug." He made me smile.

We won't let it, Tiff. For whatever amount of days each of us are there, we are going to forget everything else. Forget bills, kids, husbands (both the ones we want and the ones we don't), jobs, responsibilities, etc.

Savor every minute we have there and not think about what happens when it's over. We'll deal with that when it's time.

We're up a Brown's Lake in Wisconsin with DH's aunt at her lake house. It's so beautiful here. We saw my niece and her family today--the one with 9 children (and she's pregnant). The kids are balls of energy, but adorable. So glad it's not me!

ok on that other board myst posts on that i administer, the one prior to the clubhouse, she posted something strange, and has noit been back on line to explain or to check in since. at first , (friday) we thought maybe there was some pui going on, but then not to be around all weekend too, we are getting worried.

I talked to Myst last night. I think it was last night, no sleep really screws up your sense of time. But I'm fairly sure it was last night. She was okay, a bit stressed, and inebriated, but okay.
