They had to kill someone off to have a murder to solve and he was an easy choice since he is new enough that the viewers have not bonded with him yet. In three weeks, (unless they are still dragging the murder investigation) we won't even remember that he ever was a character.

Who do we think the murderer is? We can rule out Cane (unless he hired the murderer), Phyllis, because we saw where she was standing, and I guess Lilly and Amanda because they alibi each other out.

BTW, clearly Cane has a way on and off the mountain and most likely a Sat phone (he had to have made overseas travel arrangements and set up the appointment with what's his name). He either had tons of fresh food to feed all the guests and all the staff (who is cooking and cleaning?) so he must be getting food deliveries. But suddenly, there is no way of the mountain and no way to communicate with the outside world. Pshaw

The problem is, now we finally have some sort of plot and action happening on the show but it was apparently specifically written jus to drive me nuts.

I have been in law enforcement for 40 years and I have never met an investigator who is so quick to believe the first thing a suspect says and then spend the entire investigation trying to prove their innocence.

Sharon: I didn't kill Heather

Chance: Sounds about right. We need to find the real killer

Now a 2nd person killed and Nick hurt so the cell service has been turned back on and help is on the way. But, with the wealth of the Newmans and Abbotts, why could Adam not arrange for a helicopter to fly in to rescue everyone?

Erik Braeden is really slowing down in the writing for his role which probably results from his real life health.

They killed of Chance? Well, I did vote him "most unimportant character" in the poll I gave myself. But if he is dead, now Genoa City has no police force at all (since he was the only one ever on duty).

They killed off Damien, Chance, and the minion guy (plus Cole) and it was still so boring. What was the point of it all? Kyle and Audra didn’t hook up. Billy and sally are still together. I’m not sure where Phyllis went. Was that all so Sharon and nick would kiss? I’m not even sure it set anything up

I have been wondering when his other child would resurface, but maybe they are going to rewrite history? The whole train thing is weird.

I can’t believe they killed off legacy characters and didn’t even have a memorial we saw. I’m not sure what is going on.

Also either tell me what Mariah did or move on. It’s not a compelling story when you circle back once a month for 3 minutes.

I am thinking Mariah killed that guy and I think he was that bad guy, what's his name, with plastic surgery. Or maybe she tried to kill him and just couldn't do it and she hates he's out there somewhere.

I think she killed him too. No idea who he is and why you could be right that dude resurfaces from time to time.

Not sure if anyone watched Beyond the Gates but that 15 seconds with Devon and Dani had so much chemistry. Since Abby is reoccurring and he has no storyline I’m kind of hoping he crosses back over.
