Hey all who dropped in since I left. Had to watch the end of the Hockey game. :grouphug:

Shar - Talk her into going later. :thumbsup2

Shuggie!

Hello  4 years, 363 days and counting :yay: Dh thinks I should lock myself in the house Monday just in case. He says it would really suck to make it this far only to get hit by a bus on the last day

Great thinking there Shug! :)

What is the five years about exactly? I mean I know the cancer thing, but what happened 5 years ago?

What you gonna do to celebrate?

I'm off again too. Have to be up early. We are bombing the house tomorrow. What to do with the cat. This should be fun.

Hello my peeps! Back from the football game, our team won!!!!! :cheer2: It was a pretty good and the godson played pretty good.

Get your hands off of me! :snooty:

Bite me!!!!;)

Over an hour between posts?? Where the heck are all you people? Not like Paige, Tig, Caro and Teo to not be here. Merle, I know you're here somewhere. Come post with me!

Sorry I was already in bed.

Kids were up at 5:30...too dang early for as late as I was up last night....some strange people kept me up talking about nonsense like eating buffalos and alligators.

Got to be adventurous in my life somehow!:rolleyes1

dd20 is in misssouri with her father after divorcing hte scum in law

Where in MO?

When I was diagnosed on Oct 8, 2002, I was told I could expect 18 to 24 months and even with aggressive treatment cancer as advanced as mine had a statistical 100% mortality rate within 5 years. But if I was interested, my dr knew of another who was having some success in clinical trials with a new drug and really wanted a younger patient (ovarian pts tend to be post menopausal). I've had 2 setbacks since but this time I'm *cautiously* optimistic. Earlier this year I'd finally made enough progress to work up to 50/50 odds and right now am no longer considered terminal. :cool1:

Hey guys. Back from dinner. It was really yummy, and I came in $200 under budget! That's a very good thing! 10 people at Benihana wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be! :goodvibes I admit I started sweating when they were ordering sushi and alcohol before dinner, but it all turned out good in the end, and my dad had a nice birthday dinner (and anniversary for my parents).
mmm, I love Benihana! What a nice thing you did for your parents!

Holy crap, that can't be good. (No pun intended) Hope you feel better soon.

You too, Myst. How's Myster?

Hi Julie, how are you feeling?

Nutty, it sounds like you had a nice dinner.

MM, I'm so glad Mini MM is feeling better. Let's hope she keeps all that food down or she'll be pulling a Caro on you.
I was feeling better till I ate dinner. Now my tummy is making all sorts of gurgly noises. Not sure if I'll work the overtime I'm supposed to tomorrow or not.

My Mom got her lung biopsy moved to Monday, so she should have the results back by the time she goes to the oncologist on the 19th.
Congrats on your 5 year anniversary, Shug! What a great milestone!

It was nice. I tried surprising my dad by inviting his best friend and his family (they're practically extended family for us) but he had a feeling they were all invited. So the cat was out of the bag, but it was a great time anyway.

Great news!

Shug, congratulations on 5 years! That's really awesome! :goodvibes

Alright ladies and Frog, I'm going to bed. Have a nice quiet day on my couch planned for tomorrow. Maybe I'll motivate myself to actually get on here.

First post of the morning!

Rise and shine people!

I'm in the lobby today, and slightly bitter over the schedule for this week.

Conc, do you work ALL the time?

Me? I have a light day. Church, laundry, playing with the kids, maybe I'll get to the store to do a little "me" shopping, maybe I'll even take myself out to lunch  . Hope springs eternal.

Anyway, if I'm not around, I left some hugs for everyone yesterday.
