I'm trying to convince my kids to buy their halloween costumes this year, I don't feel like making them

Hey, I was just going to post good afternoon/evening. I'm doing pretty good today. Have done nothing today but sleep and read a James Patterson book. I just got off the phone with my Mom and she sounds good. She is still remaining positive. I think I may try and fly down for her oncologist appt on the 19th. I'd love to take the girls down too, but don't know if I can swing it. I guess my sister took the news well, she didn't start crying like I did. I'm still trying to let everything sink in.

Speaking of Halloween costumes...I need some ideas for me. I NEVER dress up, but am supposedly going to a party this year and they won't let us in the door if we are not in costume. Better yet, does anyone have a costume they want to send me?

Cause it needs to be taught how!

Hey all!

My grandmother is home from the hospital. Apparently (which no one decided to tell me) they were concerned that the cause for her breathing problems was that the cancer had spread to her lungs, but thankfully it hasn't. They have no idea what is causing her breathing issues, they suspect it might be some of the meds she's on. But, in any event, she's home now and doing ok. Thanks for all the good wishes, I really believe they helped!

Ok, back. How about would you take your child to a Dr. who allows his employees to go to work with an infectious condition?
Or would you marry somebody that drinks hot dog juice?
Or would you divorce your husband if they cheated on you with an ape?

Dumb (you remember him, the idiot I work with) keeps hitting on me.

This morning he kept asking me to go to breakfast with him.

Guess what Thing 1's science teacher did? She took a pic of them all in these vests they had to make illustrating which element they were, and they had to "be" that element that day...........and then she pasted it on an index card and mailed it out like a postcard. She wrote on it "What a great looking bunch. Science rocks!" No wonder that's his favorite class!
