is Angel scared of clowns? What if all of her friends are clowns would she still be scared?
 

We use turbinado in our coffee and tea. I only have refined white sugar for baking. I've read a lot of studies where the fake sweetners still trick your body into producing fat storing chemicals. I'm really interested in this food series Dr Oz from Oprah has on. He's presenting some interesting theories on food.

I can understand, the more I read the more I wonder. I think I will go post a serparate thread on this issue, with links

isn't that the truth, but I am finding alternatives that I am coming to like. My scary thoughts are, what am I going to do when I go to WDW :eek: I tried to eat a normal taco, and felt like crap!! After eating organic for almost 5 weeks now :scared1:

hiya nutty !! how are you feeling today?

I was feeling good this morning, but by the time the afternoon came along I was going downhill quickly. I got so dizzy my brother came to pick me up from work because I didn't think driving was a good idea. :sad2:

Cirque has some clowns, yes. But they are artistic clowns. Not scary ones.

Food is complicated. But it doesn't have to be. If we only ate like we did 20 or 30 years ago, we'd be a much healthier nation. Processed and chemically enhanced 'food' carries so little nutritional value. That's not to say I don't eat it, but the fewer steps there are from the food being alive to being on my table, the better.

very true, and I never did like all those little individual foods. I am working everyday to eat better, and like I have said I am feeling a lot better. It may take me time to read labels, etc, but the pay off it great :) I feel so much better :)

Also, my DD has taken up with the adjustments, she goes with me to the store and we pick things out together, and she is into this also :) which I never thought she would be.

That's fantastic that dd is learning new habits too. It's unfortunate that it's so much more expensive to eat healthy though. I'm finding ways, but it's still hard on a budget!

very true, but I have learned to shop the sales, and I am getting the hang of this

Some things I have learned --- SuperTarget does sell a few organic items, and can get them at half the cost ----- they are mixed in with the regular food

Trader Joe's has some great prices, and cheaper than the Whole Food Stores

Unforunately, have to get more things at Whole Food Stores, because they have the biggest selection

We are suppose to be getting a Wild Oats soon, hope that will help
