I went for chocolate tonight. :yay: Try that if you have it.

I had milk, I'm upstairs, so don't really want to go back down. I would LOVE a soda, but dh keeps buying diet and I can't drink those, they give me migraines. I already had one and took something, so not good to keep going. I am very, very tired tonight.

How are you?

Sorry the migraines continue without much relief.

Been better, been worse. Tired too but I have heartburn so can't sleep. So many meds and I still get heartburn. :confused3 Anyway I'm sure it's just stress related.

Heartburn is a pain. So did you read my crazy ant story? It was nuts!

No. Was having a terrible time earlier getting anything to load here. Actually it's been bad for days other than short spurts. What page?

Hi Lara and kids!

Late Angel? You call that late???????

Okay, I enroll Thing 2 today and have to choose a teacher. There are 3 and they are all equally experienced and equally good but entirely different. One is very academic and because he is behind, she'll work intensely with him. There will be little playtime and probably none for him. He'll meet her expectations or she will hold him back. However, he'll get a strong base from her. On the other hand, he is easily frustrated, and that class may push him into tantruming at school which I do not want as that is not tolerated well in my school. So I kind of want him not on that list.

2 is the opposite. She will teach, but they will also play. She lets each child develop at their pace. He may also be held back here. He may not learn all he needs to know for next year in this class as it's sort of up to him how fast he goes, but he will be happy.

3 is more middle of the road. She is just moving back down after years in an upper grade, so her expectations may be skewed one way or the other. She'll be learning new curriculum and testing. She may be the best fit for him personality wise, as far as handling his independence/dependence conflicts and his frustrations with his motor skills.

I had leaned towards 2, but now I think 3 may be better. But she's sort of an unknown factor, but again, that may be better. 1 considers herself a good friend of mine, 2 is a good friend of mine, 3 is related to a VERY good friend. Any way I go, no one will say anything, but the two not chosen will wonder why. 1 may ask or send someone to ask. 2 might possibly ask. My answer will of course be that I considered the best fit for him.

It is difficult knowing all the teachers sometimes.

Good morning :grouphug:

Paige...tough decision...but I am SURE you will make the right one for your son.

I would say 2. I agree 3 will be trying to adjust with her new curriculum.

Thanks Angel.

Pops, I've made some decisions in the past that I've regretted. I would just leave it, but there's always one that would not be a good fit, and I can never just leave it up to chance because of that.
