Cool! You'll have to PM me with which resort--I've stayed concierge at several resorts--AKL, WL, and Polynesian. Think that's it, as far as concierge.

IF my DH ever showers we'll go. Another guy is giving a trim for the wood trim--this is the guy that was supposed to give an estimate last week and didn't call to say he wasn't showing up. Think he's high on our list?

Ok, back to clutter control on my kitchen counters. I'm actually making progress. When did I become such a slob? Yeah, I know...it's a bit tied in with depression.

Oh that is okay. The day itself went well, but as I posted briefly earlier the rest of the weekend was bad bad bad. MIL has gotten truly obsessive about eveyrone spending ALL of our time together. Uhhh, no thanks. Seriously if that is the expectation we are going to have to not go. I have a DH who really needs his space (and it's his family ) and a DD who thinks she needs to meet everyone's expectations of her or her anxiety escalates like a skyrocket. Of course, not being able to meet those expectations as well as trying to do so are equally stressful. MIL actually called TWICE before we even got up to the resort (at 6 in the evening actually) to tell us she had signed us up for various activities. HELLO! Welcome to your vacation. And one of these things was for the older two to go fishing but not the youngest. You had to be 6 and he is not 6 until November. Yeah, that is going to go over really well. She was quite offended when we didn't go. She also made it really clear in a passive agressive way that it was a big problem that we showed up "late." Excuse the hell out of me, but it was MY birthday and a vacation I didn't want to go on. Lay off!

Oh, I soooo want to come visit you at work! Well, okay, honestly....I don't even know you, but I would love to stay there! DH and I got upgraded to concierge when we went on a solo trip to WL and got toooooo darn spoiled!

So I got my travel request approved. I just have to book my flight and rooms tomorrow. I'm going to be at the Gaylord Palms for three days and then will head over to Pop for a couple of days. I've never done Disney solo before...I'm excited and worried. Maybe I'll find someone else who will be there that week ***cough, florida people*** who I can meet for drinks or something. I have a spare bed still.

Dang, I just had a couple of friends stay there. Well not just stay there, it was in May. But anyway...maybe someday. DH insists on a certain park view there and that is enough to break the bank without the conc. I have to admit to crashing the conc lounge with my friends (and a couple other freinds who were staying at another resort) after we had our fireworks cruise on the Grand One.

DH, me and DS will be enjoying a rat resort starting on Thursday for two nights. DD is too grown up (so she says).

Oh and one whine...I am bouncing between my doctor's office and the lab where I have my blood drawn trying to get the results of my latest thyriod test and the test they did to see why my red blood cell count is a little low. grrrrr....both are blaming the other as to the results not appearing. Grrrrr I'll be back playing the game tomorrow. grrrrrr
