So the benefit was sorta lame, but the recipent was overwhelmed with the generosity. We went to the casino with MIL and FIL afterwards, of course I thought of Teva and Tim. Again, I lose, M wins, we came out $27 ahead due to him ditching me to win back the money I lost
Today we are going to go for lunch and to verizon to renew and hopefully get them to take it easy on me for last months overage

Hey all!
I went to the fair last night to get some fair food and perhaps party a bit. I ate the fair food, but the partying was a no go.
The amount of mullets was insane. Not a hot guy in the entire place. Is a little eye candy too much to ask for?

Well they certainly weren't in Atlantic City last night..that's for sure.

So DS is in bed for his nap. We had the funniest fight at lunch. I decided to have a fried egg for lunch and offered DD a scrambled egg, which she loves. Of course she took me up on the egg. DS starts piping in that he wants egg too. Now I know DS hates egg, but gave him a little. Then DS remembers he hates eggs and decides he wants crackers instead. We tell him he has to at least take a couple of bites of the egg he asked for. He pulls a tantrum and I wait until he's going full steam ahead and then pop a bite of egg in his mouth. He was sooooooooo mad at me. He ate the egg and a cracker and then the crying started again.....so I popped another bite of egg in. The third time he went to cry, looked at me, and put his hand over his mouth so he could cry without fear of egg. That was fine, the hand muffled the screams. He was just tired.

I can't believe you shoved eggs into his mouth.

Tig, I keep thinking it's only a couple of years and Bryan will want to drive everywhere we go.

Tim, if you did AC on $30, then you did good! I miss the days of going out partying and dancing and stuff. Ahhhh to be young again.

My sisters are coming over, and I imagine Bryan will take over the computer, so I'll be back later. We seriously need more than one computer in this house.

Okay well if you add the money spent on dinner and liquor, it was more like $150.

What is this CH thing?


so my flight tonight was cancelled, so that was fun trying to find a different flight. Good thing I looked before I left the house for the airport, so I could deal with it at home. There were no other flights and the earliest was 10 am tomorrow (the 7 am was sold out). So then she says there's a flight out of JFK at 545. It was 530 at the time. I was like "Even if I lived NEXT DOOR to JFK, I couldn't make the flight" So I wound up taking Amtrak...I had the nuttiest lady next to me. I sit in the quiet car when I'm on Amtrak. Now the key word is "quiet" right? Well the lady next to me blurts out "SO WHAT ARE YOU STUDYING FOR?" And I said "oh the cpa exam" and she says 'OH THAT'S LOVELY.' So she proceeds to read her book, and yell out in astonishment at different parts of the book. Later on, as she was getting back from the bathroom, she's like 'YOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" so I would get up. And she then talks about how I'm so lucky there is a quarter on my seat and I'm going to have great luck.

She was really nice but man, it was funny. I didn't mind she was loud but I'm sure people were about to complain.

The VA meet is going to be in Williamsburg the weekend of the the 10th. Actually I think that on Sunday the 11th will be a "hang out" thing *STHU EVERYONE!* and then planning for whoever wants to do Busch Gardens and Water Country M-W. So plan to try to come for at least Sunday and visit.

I couldn't see her eyes after her hug to me, so I don't know about her. None from me, Andrew or Alana. That's not to say I don't miss her though. The one on one time with Alana this week will be nice and thn next week will be one on one with Kathryn while Alana is gone.
