Hi Tig :)

I want naner bread. With walnuts in it. MMMMMMM.

Actually, what I want is pecan pie. I've been craving sweet things, which is unusual for me. And no, I'm not pregnant.
I LOVE pecan pie!

See, I'm not a nut fan.
I KNEW you were on my new team.

I watched it until almost the end.

David, I am not clicking on your links anymore. :snooty:
Me either!

Good Morning!!!!!!
Hi Shar! What did you get done yesterday? :) What are you doing today?

I'm midly evil. Just ask CanadianGuy
Is CanadianBaconGuy gay? I have a good reason for asking.

You bathe the dog in the bedroom?
She does...just ask her what she does in the bathroom. :rolleyes1

I had my neuro appt. Some guy who was their with his mother seemed to be flirting with me. Appt itself wasn't too bad. Dr wants me to up my migraine prevention meds now in the evening and see how I tolerate it. If I don't I can cut the dose back, but if I do that will be good. I'll wait to increase it much since this is the drug that was making me sleep ALL the time.

Happy Birthday to Connor!

Isn't it Julie's birthday today? Or was it yesterday. Damn the vicodin, full speed ahead! ;)

TIM, you done with the project yet? :teeth:

Can I adopt you so that you can hang out at my house for a while? I have lots of projects.

projects cost ... i get 50 bucks an hour for the public... and even more at home.

I LOVE pecan pie!

TIM

ARE YOU DONE YET??????

I still want to know what the project is. We've been waiting an awful long time so it better be darn worth it!

Lunch :confused3 Good lord man, it's 10:11!

Hey, my shift starts at 6am and I'm up for work at 4:30. It's lunch time to me!

Oh I could so say something about this coming right after the comment about NJ's boss, but I know where the line is..................;)

Line? Oh, I crossed that thing years ago. I forgot all about it.

I agree with Angel....you will knock their socks off!

So a few years ago I worked with this sweet old woman. She was very prim and proper, but at the same time very worldly. She felt that people could not have sex with thier sox on, so if someone was going out they would say "Make sure you keep your sox on until at least the 3rd date!"

Is CanadianBaconGuy gay? I have a good reason for asking.

You know Knox?

You know Knox?
Nope, does he wear socks? :rotfl: And you still didn't answer...is Bacon gay?  I really do have a funny story (funny as in WTH was this kid thinking kind of funny) that it would be a good lead in for. ;)

I don't talk about other people's sexuality, no matter what sexual identity they may have, if they are not present. I just think to do otherwise is disrespectful, no matter if you are gay, straight, bi, or even a "Mesesxual" (picked that one up from "The Sarah Silverman Program" :rotfl2: )

Unless of course you are a celebrity. Then everyone can talk about you!

Nooooooo problem!

So today is Connor's birthday, he's 3. We all went in to wake him up by singing Happy Birthday this morning. I looked down and saw the suspicious wet markings all over the bed. He had held his pee in yesterday evening so that he didn't have to put it in the potty and then proceded to overflow his diaper :headache: . Oh well, I had to do laundry anyway, I just got to start it this morning.

Happy Birthday Connor

Sweetie, that's why I hang out in the guest bedroom now. ;) It is a much nicer atmosphere. My sons like it too, as they can come across the hall to talk to me without getting screamed at for daring to open the door.

know that feeling. . . .

went to sleep around 1:30am so so, and I think we all slept well, he stayed home from work today, and boy you would not think he was at the hospital last night, gripping away :scared: he had atypical pain and he has to get a stress test done, also got a RX for nitro

on the way home he had to have Krystal's and a chocolate milkshake :sad2:

had to turn his phone on silent because everyone kept calling, and these were the same ppl that did not answer their phones when I was going to pick him up :sad2:

I know when my mom was in the hospital with 2 surgeries in a 24 hour period, I DID NOT sleep until after I knew it was all ok. I paced the floors, was a zombie, how can some ppl sleep when it is their own flesh and blood?? I do not understand.

I know that him and I have not been getting along the best for quite awhile now, but I was still there. . . . . .and I took our DD with me to go get him,

I am off today and just taking it easy, having lunch now, and Conc I have to be at work at 6am, I have an early lunch also, so I know how that goes.

Tim are you finished yet?

I also think think that this was a wake-up call for him, but after the Krystal's ordeal I do not know :confused3

 The only person whose actions you can own are your own. He'll either learn or he will not. Hard, but true.

Glad he could go home last night....good sign.

very true He was also recommended by our family DR. last year to have a stress test done, and he dropped the ball with that. I told him he needed to call and set everything up, take the insurance card and have it done. As always, he leaves all of that on my plate. After many long talks with my mother, she told me he needs to take his own responsibility and take certain things off me. ex: making his own appts, getting his rx's, etc, etc, etc

I learned a long time ago I could not do everything, it was burning me out. The how am I going to fit everything into my schedule type of thing. I have had less stress in my life since I have done that.

I guess time will tell, Debbie. Here's a hug.

yes it will

:grouphug:

And I have to say, everyone here is a great bunch of ppl, eventhough some of live miles away, we are all still a cyberspace family? but wait, some of us have met, long distance friendship? Ohana means family, no one gets left behind :)

I love coming here, and look forward to coming here as much as I can  :grouphug:

Then I'll tell the story, anyway...just would have been better with that lead in. ;)

First some backstory... we've always been very open and honest with our kids about all kinds of people and since they have an uncle who used to be sort of a gay rights activist they knew at a young age what it meant to be gay (I'll tell you about the uncle another time :) ).

Anyway, my 16yo was on a United Nations Pilgrimage Tour recently--there were 3 groups of 50 kids each, mainly from the US, but some from Canada and a few from Europe. They put 4 kids (obviously of the same sex) in a 2 double-bed room together. No big deal to my son, but boys that age can be pretty weirded out by that. Anyway, at one stay my son (Ben) walked into a room and two boys were already in there. My son was informed by one boy (call him boy 1) that Ben was sleeping with boy 1. Ben said ok, but why? Boy 1 said because "boy 2 is Canadian". Now Ben was really confused. Turns out that boy one had never met someone from Canada before except someone his mother knew, who happened to also be gay. What reasoning skills that this bright boy had to make that leap with boy 2, huh? Of course very sad that someone could be so damn stupid, but when Ben told me about it we laughed in disbelief.

Snuggie.

Tig, glad it went well at the neuro. :thumbsup2

Thing 2 asked me today what ice cream was made of. I told him milk. He laughed at me in that "silly mom" kind of way and said "Cows are made of milk!"

NJ, are you done yet???????????

Glad you feel the love.

As you know, I've been doing a helluva lot of leaning for awhile and I couldn't do it with a better bunch of people.

:rotfl2:

Hey now, I know lots of straight Canadians!!

Phew, I was so afraid I would offend you since I don't know you! :rotfl:

I'll tell you the BIL story via PM since lurkers could piece together too much info if they tried hard. ;)
