I got back from bringing my 16yo to his sleep study. All went well until I stopped at Burger King before bringing him and I slipped and fell on the slippery sidewalk. My knee (the one where the nerve damage is originating from) is going to be nice and sore tomorrow. The roads weren't too bad coming home, but came home to a husband in a very bad mood, laying into me about things. Nice welcome after being gone for almost 5 hours, much of it driving in heavy traffic. WTH do I bother sometimes? Let me see what drink I can round up.

Well, they were unable to do the procedure today. Not something I want to talk about here. X-ray at the hospital sent me directly to my Dr who saw me immediately without an appt. Let's just say they are extremely concerned that the super concentrated drano they use before the procedure had absolutely no effect and now I have to see a Gastro on Weds. There's a couple of simple possibilities and several very scary ones. Guess which everyone is really thinking It's the elephant in the room.

Poor Tig.

Let me tell you my bone head move of the day. It really starts getting bad outside and I am working my butt off to get out of work early. Finally ready to leave and my boss, who is coming back in the building from an errand tells me it's not bad, the roads are only wet.

I leave the building and have to walk v e r y s l o w l y, because both the sidewalk and street have a coating of slushy ice. I pull out of the garage and I can tell the road is slippery and when I get to the first stop sigh the tires slip a little.

I get to the main road it is okay but being the chicken poop I am decide to take back roads home. At just about every I have to make from one road to the other the tires slip, just a little bit but it makes me very nervous.

When I get to the point of heading to the main road I decide I will continue to take the back roads because there aren't as many lights or traffic. Now for those of you who may know my area, I am driving through Old Town Ellicott City, which is down below where I live.

And the road is almost a 45 degree angle, don't know grades when it comes to roads, but I had to floor it the whole way up the road and was only doing about 30 MPH.

Would have been a damn shame to get stuck halway up the hill to home.

Yes on the DH for sure!

I hit my knee below where the nerve damage was (at least that's where it's skinned) and I'm hoping that I didn't twist it too much. It hurt for awhile after and I have ice on it, so it should be better.
