So, have any of you guys ever been to Prague? During our April Ireland trip we'll be flying to the Czech Republic for a conference. We'll fly from Dublin to Prague, spend one night there, then take a train to the town where the conference is, but we'll have half a day to play tourists in Prague before we catch the train. I've heard it's a beautiful city, but I have no clue what we should do while we're there.

I think there's a thread about it. My DD was going to go last night with her boyfriend, but I haven't heard from her to know how she liked it. She's not a fan of that sort of movie and he was laughing at her. I told him that meant that she got to choose dinner, which he was arguing with.


4's house was used as a party pad by local teens (I think she said teens) when they were on vacation. Not much taken, but damage done and they were getting ready to start a fire. Creeps!

I may go, who knows, this is my day to be lazy, all housework done, just chilin here today, but I do want to go see . . . .

Robin, it wasn't just the garage...I suspect she just now found that damage. They were in the house, too. I think she said they had a BB gun and were shooting it, including the snail rocking horse she got for future grandchildren.

I'm going to go rest. So sleepy I can't even see straight.

If there were signs of forced entry her insurance should cover it. What a lousy way to end such a great vacation

I haven't been to Prague yet, but have heard it is just beautiful. I'd just walk around the city and look since you only have half a day.

I hope whoever did that to 4s gets beat up.

I'm pretty sure my mom was in Prague last summer - she's constantly traveling and it's hard to keep track. Anyone, I'll check with her for you.

So much for a nap...the house was quiet, so I went and curled up on a couch in the living room. Just as I was dozing off (second time I've fallen asleep during the daytime in the last week, something I never do), my boys started arguing and the noise level went way high very fast. Of course if I had of been in bed I would have been fine, but it had been quiet.

I forgot if 4's said if all of the boys were caught, but at least some of them were.

That reminds me.... this morning Jake showed me his whole Lincoln Log village that he's been working on in the basement playroom. It had probably 7 or 8 different buildings and one of them was a restaurant. I asked him what type of food the restaurant served and he told me Chinese and Indian. How many 7yo's would choose that for their Lincoln Log village menu?

I'm off and running for a little while again.
