Hi There - Not sure what the reason, but I had the same problem (after returning a PM), and for some reason it just corrected itself. Hopefully, you will experience the same situation. If problem persists, just contact technical support for help.

The Technical Support forum is the best place to head with questions like this. We have a FAQ there that will halp with lots of info.

Alright I know this is a silly question but I have always wondered...how come there is a minimum # of post before you can PM? No big deal either way was just curious!

It's a spam control measure.

Before we implemented this, we'd have spammers register a name and then spam our members via private messages. Now we see them on the forums first, and our spam-via-PM problem has dwindled to nothing.

Makes sense...guess I was just overlooking the obvious.
