Agree! Our favourite times in WDW are the last hour of EMH, epecially when it's late, the park is often empty. No people anywhere and all rides are literally walk-ons. It's literally like having the park to yourself. Oh yeah, and Country Bears is really boring!
Maybe not where you are; my weather report may be a little different. My family loves PM-EMH; we'd take 4 hours if we could get it! Quite honestly because of this, we may decide to stay off-site now for our 2013 family reunion trip.
For me, anything "Country Bear Jamboree" gives me the heeby-jeebies; that's obviously not the way you feel.
To each their own!
But the whole POINT of EMH is so the resort guests could get "the park to yourself", they used that phrase in the promos. The thing about business is that if you try to save money on everything, you'll be likely to end up losing a fair share of your customers. Even more for Disney World, as the customer service and magic are such important part of their product. It's a careful balance. They're trying to get money back for building AoA and Avatarland and expanding Fantasyland by increasing ticketprices (a LOT for kids), removing a snack credit from the dining plan etc. It all adds up money wise, and now experience wise. Personally I really wish they'd find other ways of saving money than taking the last EMH.
