Plus size clothes at Disney?

We are going to Disney for the first time tomorrow. Does anyone know if they sell plus size 3X sweatshirts and shirts?

I believe they do but it seemed like the selection was much smaller. I think partly they don't carry as much in the X sizes but also those sell more quickly because they are harder to find.

Sadly, the only 3X t-shirt I found was the one I bought (fortunatly one of the few I wanted!!) I found it at Animal Kingdom.

I did get my husband a 3X men's polo shirt in the World of Disney store however...

I think once you get above 2X it gets really hard to find clothes at Disney. Sad but true.

We have found some but they are few and far between. You may have to treat it as a sort of scavenger hunt.

We are all in the same boat, trying to get thinner and just plain healthier - You probally wont be out of the XXX shirts for this trip, but hopefully for the next! What do you have to lose other than some weight?!

I can offer is that they used to carry larger sizes on the t-shirt cart that is just inside the entrance to MK. There was a 2x there that is plenty large...I wear a 26/28 and it is loose on me. That was years ago, so it might not be that way now, but you might try it.

I found some shirts in the Everything Pop store that were extended sizes but they just seemed to get longer, not much wider though. I had to pass on getting a shirt for that reason. Oh well... that should motivate me to lose weight before we go back!

Some of the store have a small selection but, I found the best selection of Plus-sized clothes was at World Of Disney at Downtown Marketplace. ( I saw t-shirts and sweat shirts up to 5X)

We have always been able to find my DH either 4x o 5x t-shirts, mostly at the Emporium or Mouse Gears. You have to look thru all to find them, but they are there.

What is your thread??? I need to lose a bunch of weight and would love to have some motivation!! I looked into weightloss surgery and after the classes and such I am too scared to do it and want to keep trying the diet/exercise route!! TIA!

I found a section in the Emporium inside MK close to the door area by the barber shop. They had sizes up to 5X !!!

I wear an XL, but bought a bunch of 2X t-shirts when disneyshopping.com was having their president's day sale. We are planning on going to WDW in September and I don't like shirts hugging me when I get hot so hence the 2X. I learned this when we took our first trip to WDW in 2004 and was dripping in sweat and my shirts were hugging me. Never again!

While there I would like to buy some more shirts so thanks for the advice where to look for them.

When we went in 2005, DH wore 2X and I remember it was hard to find them. However, in December 2007, DH wanted 3X and I was amazed at how easy it was to find them. It seemed like everything he was interested in came in 3X. We did most of our clothes shopping at the BW gift shop and World of Disney.

Not sure about the ladies side, but that's just some men's experience.
