Has anyone bought this fare yet and if so was it worth it. Was their plenty of leg room and how was the service for the complimentary alcohol and food. ?
I've had them a few times...but not booking outside of 24 hrs prior,
If they aren't booked, they open up at check in time ..I like to choose 1D and 1F hoping the middle remains available which so far, it has. Good leg room!!!

We only fly West Jet and normally don't bother with Plus when flying 2-3 hrs... BUT... Flew to Hawaii (stayed at Aulani) 2 weeks ago and did the upgrade.... 100% worth it. You get: assigned overhead compartment (great for a full flight), extra leg room, free tablet rental (new planes don't have the seat back TVs so they rent an iPad looking device that is loaded with movies and TV shows... They are free for Plus seats. AND all "buy on board" items are free. Alcoholic drinks, sandwiches, snacks etc.,, anything they normally charge for us free. Since you are up front near the galley, flight attendants were always attentive asking if we wanted anything. If you pay at time of booking for a plus fare seat there are added perks like extra baggage and better cancellation fees, but if there are unsold seats at 24hrs hrs to check in, you can upgrade the seat for anywhere between 15-45$
