Pls inform me about Jehovah Witness

Okay, thank you very much. But one thing I'm still uncertain about: How do JWs believe that one gets to heaven? I looked through the Watchtower's topics, but didn't see anything about heaven.
I'm pretty sure that professing that one believes that Jesus died for their sins gets one to the paradise earth..As for how one becomes one of the 144,000 I'm not really sure. I know that only those who believed they would be one of the 144,000 took communion at the memorial

All right; so you don't know anything about their beliefs of heaven?

If anyone else knows what JWs believe about heaven (after paradise earth), then that would be very much appreciated.

Paradise earth never ends..Its permanent as is heaven for the 144,000

So the 144,000 go to heaven and everyone else goes to paradise earth? Or everyone just goes to paradise earth?

144,000 to heaven, the rest to the new earth

So who goes to hell? Those that died during Armaggedon?
There is no hell to a JW..Those who are *unsaved* cease to exist

I'm jumping in and I'm not able to read all the way through. I know there was a poster way back who got pretty well beat up for stating that JW is a false teaching.

If you are a Christian who believes that the Holy Bible is God-breathed and completely true then you certainly believe that there is only one way to have a relationship with God. There are a lot of Christians posting here and other religious debates who have "tolerance" for all religions. What they don't state is they don't believe those other "religions" lead to salvation and eternal life with God. In every religious debate on these boards I have found people jumping all over the Christians for thinking their way is the only way. If Christians were to accept that there were "other" ways, then they would be denying the truth that they claim to subscribe to.

The message should be spread both through words and action and the action being the way we live our life. As Christians we are failing in large part to live out what we say we believe. Because we too often "speak" the truth of God's word, rather than live it out we are judged harshly and looked at hypocritical.

The most unfortunate teaching of JW and many other religions is that there is something we (humans) must do to "earn" God's grace. A laundry list of "to-do's" that God will somehow consider "enough" to pass through.

The Bible is clear that God's grace is a gift, paid for by his son Jesus. The only thing that we must do is accept that we as human beings have a void that must be filled. We have a need for salvation because of the sin that began with Adam and continues to live in us today. After that acknowledgement and prayer to Jesus Christ, we are forever His. Of course living out good works and love and grace are all outward signs of this inward decision. There is prayer, bible study, church, discipleship, etc. etc. These are awesome fantastic tools God has given us here on earth. They are not however "tickets" to heaven or a relationship with the Lord.

If we could somehow "earn" God's grace then what purpose would the gift of Jesus have?

JW's don't believe you can earn your way to heaven..That's not a JW belief

Don't they believe that if you "break" one of the rules then you are no longer under God's grace? :confused3

As a Christian I don't believe I can be in better "graces" with God if I do better. I *should* ;) do better because of His presence in my life, not in order to climb the spiritual ladder. My sin separates me completely from God and it is only Jesus' sacrifice that brings reconciliation. When I do something that is generous or if I am obedient to the scripture it is to glorify Him, not to achieve a "status" with Him.

.
The disfellowship you..Shun you if you do certain things..Sinning..No they don't believe you fall out of grace..It's supposed to be a dsiciplinary thing..I don't agree with it at all,but it's not related to salvation as far as I know

Well, I think that exhausts my questions about Jehovah's Witnesses. Thanks a lot for all the answers. I certainly have learned a lot about the way that they do things. Much appreciated.
