Try downloading malwarebytes and running it. It often picks up junk that other programs miss for me. It definitely sounds like something has invaded your machine.

Those links are accurate. They are the links that your computer gets "redirected" to after you click on the pretty mypoints link. That's what actually takes you through the network that tracks your shopping so that mypoints get paid and you get credit back. All three that you posted are standard links of the network called "Commission Junction." :) Most people just never see them because their computers redirect so quickly.

Sunshinegirl, I understand what you are saying about Commission Junction.

What is happening though is that when I click on say the "Best Buy" link when I want to buy something, Mypoints is only going as far as say the www.androzers... and not completely going through to the Best Buy website.

Any idea why this might be happening?

Thanks again.

So your browser is not going past the CJ links to the merchant? That's most likely something in your settings. A lot of computer cleaner programs (like McAfee, etc) will block what they consider to be "money" sites, which anything like CJ would be. It sounds like one of your programs is not letting it go through.

Try a couple of merchants on there that are NOT CJ. I haven't been on Mypoints in ages, but a couple off the top of my head that you can try that are probably on there are Ice.com, Target, and Barnes and Noble. See if those go through. Those all go through networks besides CJ. If any of those work, then your settings are just blocking CJ merchants. If none of those work either, then there's something bigger involved.

you are right about the "money" sites. BN worked just fine. When I tried Best Buy, the screen did not get by the www.androzer...

This is weird since this just started to happen a few weeks ago. What settings do you thing I should adjust.

Again, thanks for the feedback.:thumbsup2

Check your browser: Tools --> Internet Options --> Privacy Tab --> Sites Button in the top settings section.

There is a list there of sites your browser may be blocking. I have nothing in mine.

I see you use SpyBot. Do you use the immunization feature? If so, this is where you see what it is blocking.

I turned off my spybot immunization since the IE Phising security plus AVG & MalwareBytes take care of stuff.

You can also try: Tools --> Internet Options --> Security tab --> in the icon section at the top click Restricted Sites, then the Sites Button. See if that particular Commission Junction is in there. I wouldn't clear that list though, but think would be safe to just delete CJ if it is in there.

I know that Webroot Spysweeper software does block some of those sites. Since we installed it at work, I can't click through SR or QR to do my shopping on my lunch hour - I have to wait until I get home.
