Just out of curiousity I called CRO last night and checked availability at the deluxe resorts during our trip next month. I was wondering what the crowds might be like, and I thought it might be a good indication. Well, here is a list of all the availability for our travel dates:
GF - gv, lv, concierge
Poly - gv, lv, concierge
CR - tower only
WL - cy, woods, standard
YC - water view only
BC - not available
BWI - water view only
AKL - standard, savannah, concierge
I was shocked!
Our trip is only about 3 weeks away and usually the availability would be limited. Especially WL standard and AKL standard. Those usually go fast. It looks like the epcot resorts are doing OK... but the monorail resorts are totally open.
So what do you guys think of this??? Should I expect slow crowds? Or is everyone just not staying in the deluxe resorts?? I'm assuming this has something to do with no AP rates or codes. What is Disney thinking??????
