DH and I went to PI last night (parents were in town and watched our 9 year DD). We had a BLAST!

The Jazz Club is very classy, and although we didn't stay to hear the guest artist, I think it would be a nice relaxing place to sit back and have a drink.

Motion is geared toward the college crowd, and the music didn't appeal to us, but I think it is an excellent club for the age group it is targeting.

We really had a good time at the Rock and Roll Beach Club. The band was great, and they were playing good danceable (read for those of us older than 35) music while the band was on break. It was fun to walk through and remember when the roller rink went through the second level--- the wooden floor is still there.

8 Trax was a good club, as well. We enjoyed reminiscing to the tunes of the 80's (it was 80's night last night), but couldn't understand why current rap style music was infused throughout. It would be better if they would stick with the club's theming, and leave the other to Motion and BET. I do miss the cages that the dancers used to dance in, but otherwise, the place hasn't changed that much since we 1st went in the 90's.

Mannequins--- the mannequins that overhang the dance floor were the highlight of this place for us. We walked right in. No one was dancing, and there were MAYBE 10 people in the whole place at 10:30. Don't know if it picked up later, and yes, it was a Monday night, but we expected more. The draught beer was horrible, too (tasted like the lines were in need of a good cleaning). What a disappointment for a club that used to be the hallmark of PI.

BET--- this is a nice club, with a great set up. The style of music is usually not to our taste, but we did enjoy going in for a while. It was also not very crowded, but they didn't have any live entertainment last night, either.

Comedy Club-- this was a blast! They have improv reminiscient of Drew Carey's "Whose Line Is it Anyway". We laughed our heads off!

Adventurers Club--- this was the main reason for going to PI last night, and as usual, it did not disappoint. We finally were able to see "The Maid's Singalong" and the "Last Hurrah" without having to worry about getting back to the Neverland Club to pick up DD. This place is NOT to be missed. It had us in stitches all night long!

Although it was castmember night, the place really wasn't busy at all, and didn't start picking up until around 11 pm. Also, some of the clubs had $2 draught beer specials, too!

The band playing on the West End Stage was great, too! They were playing selections from Kansas, and other bands popular in the last 70's... just right for us, and very enjoyable while standing in line for the comedy club. I even saw little 10 year girls dancing to it and enjoying it!

I think that Disney has done a nice job of having something for everyone at PI, and it is well worth it to go!

Well, I would have to say I am in total agreement about the Adventurers Club. Obviously. ;)
