What kind of things are people planning on getting upto at PI? Ive been a couple of times but never really had a blast. Also Im always too tired to see the New years eve celebrations, are they worth staying up for?

I'm sure that there will be an Adventurers Club mini-meet at Pleasure Island during DIScon 2002. So sure that I've already purchased some tickets for PI. Stay tuned for date(s) and time(s).

John, I definitely don't want to miss your PI Adventurer's Club this year. I konked out after ToT...lol.

I like going to the PI Jazz Club at least once. Sometimes I get lucky and I get to hear a great band.

Some other DISers were talking about liing DISCO music and that's what they play at PI 8Traxx.

They also have a BET, Rock'n'Roll, and Comedy Club.

The last time I was at PI was years ago--when the Neon Armadillo was open (was that the name?) It was where BET is now. I owe it to myself to check the joint out and see what's new, right?

We wanna come this year, too! We conked out after doing the Thrillrides tour all day, then chasing down lost rental car keys last year! We've never been to PI, so I really want to go, and we do have tickets already!

There were just so many very funny moments though, like when the character asked Sandra where she was from, then the whole internet thing came out, then she called us all "freaks", hysterical.

Barb-I literally couldn't catch my breath, we would have made some team!

I'm definitely in the minority here, but I didn't much care for Pleasure Island last year.

However, with that said, I did have a great time at The Adventurer's Club.....and that is where I got my 'DIS-Con Freak' title.

Would probably vote for Saturday night, as I believe (er, um... guess I should KNOW) that DATW, DisConII is that Friday night.

ROTFL Debbie!! And, Sandra was so calm and collected! I loved that!
SSB, I'm guessing that if we're having the Illuminations dessert party again, it will be on Saturday night as our grand finale of the convention. We could always head over to PI after the party. I don't remember when we went to the Adventurer's Club last year. We did so much it's all a blur.
