Pleasure Island

Could someone who has been there recently please tell me what the situation is with Pleasure Island these days?

When I was there back in January, it was open to everyone and only the clubs required an admission charge.

I've been reading the current Unofficial Guide and it has mentioned briefly that PI is "gated", open only at night and requires admission to gain access.

Does this mean that it's back to the way it used to be with only 18+ allowed after a certain time?

GAWD I hope so!!!!!!! I enjoyed it SO much more when it was set up that way!

As of this weekend, it was still open, with admission only required at the club doors. I wish it would go back to the old way as well, but that seems less likely with Raglan Road directly across from Mannequins (hard to "gate off" Mannequins while allowing open access to RR).
