Pleasure Island : Status?

Ok.. I know that its undergoing a huge renovation.. and some stuff is closed and moved around..

But my big question is.. if the West End stage is 'gone' - do they still do the big New Years Countdown w fireworks etc? And if so.. where is the performance portion held?

Or is that all just 'gone' ?

No more fireworks.. they stopped doing that 1/2/06. The last fireworks & countdown was on 1/1/06... and I was there.
