Pleasure Island Band?

On our last 2 trips (1998 & 2000), my DH and I really enjoyed spending our nights watching the band that played at Pleasure Island. We've been talking them up to all our friends ever since and are now bringing friends with us in October. I'm afraid I can't remember the name of the band... but are they still there? I hope so!!

They don't have a band anymore on Pleasure Island itself.

Sometimes they still have different events over in the Marketplace at the Dock Stage.

Yes they do. There's not always a band on the West End Stage -- usually just weekends and for events -- but there's always a band inside Rock 'n' Roll Beach Club.

I think the OP might be talking about Frankie and the West End Boys. They've been playing in RRBC lately, and are there most of this month. Later in February, other groups take over -- Kaband and Stormbringer are two currently on the schedule.

Oh No!!! I'm sooooooooooo disappointed to hear that!!!!!!

Does anyone remember the name of that band so I can look them up on the internet and see what they're up to now?

There is usually a band at Rock n Roll Beach Club, however they have been having a DJ instead of the band on the West End Stage. That happened sometime last fall.

Sorry, I was thinking about the old band stage at the PI water front. I had a brain fart! Sorry for the confuesion.

Yeah, They still have a band inside the Rock & Roll every night.

They stopped having bands on the West End stage back in Oct. if I remember correctly. The only time they've used the West End stage since then was New Years Eve.
