If you are a "Pushing Daisies" fan at all, PLEASE watch it tonight!!!!!! This wonderful, wonderful show can still be saved, but only if people tune in. If you have never watched it before but have been curious, please give it a try. It's a true rarity in television -- intelligent, funny, whimsical, and imaginative. The slew of Emmy nominations speaks to its charm.

"Bottom line: Pushing Daisies is not officially canceled, nor has a decision been made yet, but we have very little time to try and save it. Like one or two weeks, tops.

"We honestly don't know yet," creator Bryan Fuller says of Daisies' fate. "We've asked ABC what our future is, and the response has been wait and see, wait and see...We don't know yet, and I'm not sure they know. I think they're waiting on a few factors."

Although yesterday was the final day of production on Daisies' episode 13 (I'm told it was an emotional day on set), ABC insiders tell me that the network is waiting on one crucial determining factor: how Daisies does when it returns this coming Wednesday after being preempted for two weeks (for Dancing With the Stars and the Country Music Awards).

"We do want to see how Daisies does in the postelection viewing environment, which we have not been able to see yet," one ABC source tells me. "The next week or two will be critical."

TELL YOUR FRIENDS, TELL EVERYONE, TO PLEASE WATCH TONIGHT!! Maybe it counts if you Tivo/DVR it and watch it later? I don't know how that works... but if that does count, then please do that and delete it later without watching it, for all I care. But to a whole lot of us, this show really makes us happy... a true bright spot in the landfill of reality shows and garbage that is TV today. :goodvibes

Ive always wondered....how do they know if you're actually watching a show? How can they tell if your tv is tuned into a particular program? Weird.

I'll watch tonight. I love that show.

Unless you're a member of the Nielsen family this is moot.

Unfortunately, it's the Nielsen people that need to be watching. I have read that they track Tivo/DVR statistics but they aren't part of the ratings.

Then fans need to do more -- go to http://savedaisies.com/ and sign the petition, send an email to ABC, do whatever you can. It's way beyond ridiculous that 5000 homes decide what millions of viewers get to see... so it's up to us to make our voices heard. It has certainly been done before.

Well, then, I can never be a Nielsen rater because I VERY rarely ever watch my TV live! I can't stand commercial breaks!

I just sent a quick email to ABC. And that TV Guide poll is interesting... of all the shows listed that are "on the bubble," Pushing Daisies has the huge lead -- 61% of people taking the poll want the show saved.

I'm bummed because Life On Mars is also on the bubble :(

Crap!! Some of my favorite shows might be gone soon.

We stopped watching Pushing Daises - it just got odd to us. We really like Eli Stone. I am sorry to see it is on the bubble!

Good luck!

I LOVE this show!!!!
I will definitely be watching tonight. :thumbsup2

DH stopped watching Pushing Daisies too, I never cared for it. We watch Eli Stone Tuesday nights and I'm also sad to see that it's in trouble.
Wednesday night is Netflix movie night for us.

We watch the show, but I think the show is strange enough that it really doesn't have much chance of surviving.

Unfortunately, unlike The Ex List (canceled earlier), Pushing Daisies hasn't done anything to account for the possibility of the current order of episodes being its last. The Ex List actually re-worked the last few episodes to set up and implement an ending. Word is that if Pushing Daisies doesn't get an pick-up for the rest of the season, that fans will be distinctly displeased with how things are left.

It was announced - it's cancelled. DH and I loved it! Shucks...

The savedaisies.com people are trying to campaign CW to pick it up.
