Last year, we flew American and we didn't have to deal with our luggage at all. We dropped it off at DFW and didn't see it again til it appeared in our hotel room later that day. But this year we're flying Airtran and since it's not a participating airline I'm not sure what exactly to do. The CM told me something about getting our own luggage at MCO and getting on the bus. Could someone please walk me through the process? Also, tell me about departure? THanks! :)

Everyone flying into MCO is able to have their luggage transported to the resorts. When you get to MCO go to the DME desk they will give you a voucher for the bus. If you have the yellow tags on your luggage they will show up at the resort.

For your return trip you will have to take the luggage on the bus and check in at your airline ticket counter for boarding passes and checking the luggage.

There is a sticky at the top of the transportation board with details about DME.

This is the only difference between American and Airtran. The flight in will be exactly the same.... you won't see your luggage until your room.....
