I picked Arkansas, because I grew up here and I love it. Depending on which part of the state you want to visit there is a wide variety of things to do. If you choose Crater of Diamonds/Hot Springs there is shopping, horse races, hiking, lake, Magic Springs which is small amusement park. Up here where I live there is lots of shopping, outdoors sports, camping, National Parks, and Razorback games. In Little Rock there is the Clinton Library, the Old Mill, the zoo (which I acutally think is rather lame), and lots of other stuff. I actually haven't been to extreme Southern Arkansas so I'm not sure what all is down there besides farming. Oh, and yes, Branson is right over the border from Northwest AR, but I don't consider Branson all that and a bag of chips. It's nice for a long weekend.
