We leave in 6 days and I haven't packed a thing. This is our 1st time flying with the kids, so I know I can't overpack. I think I'm a little overwhelmed at where to start. There are so many little details....but where to begin. I can't really pack many of DH, or my clothes because we are wearing them.

I just looked at the ultimate packing list and I know I'd better get started.

This is our first trip to WDW.

I'll start if you start!

See ya in Orlando! We leave Saturday but are driving and splitting up the drive.

I haven't packed a thing yet. I feel like I really can't start until Thursday. I have been buying stuff and planning in my head. It doesn't actually take that long to toss it in the suitcase, once you know what your packing.

Girl, this was my first airplane trip with all three kids (I have flown with the older two) but let me say, YOU CAN OVERPACK! :rolleyes1 Careful planning and you should be fine. Backpacks and rolling bags work best but I feel like I really overdid the plane trip. Just a word of advice ;)

I agree, "you can overpack". Check the weather forecast and pack the necessities. Throw in some laundry soap and dryer sheets and run a couple loads of laundry half way through the trip.

On our last weeklong trip, I packed most of the essentials in one large suitcase and one duffel bag -- for two adults and two young children. Of course, we drove and my suitcase surely wouldn't have been under the 70 lb. airline limit. On our next trip, we're flying and my goal is to stick with two suitcases, a carryon, and the diaper bag.

I start packing about a week before my trip by just throwing in anything I've bought specifically for the trip or anything we wouldn't be using before the trip. Then, I keep a rolling list of things I want to add as I think of them. Last trip, the only thing I needed to buy at the resort was moleskin. That's not too bad. I spend the day before a trip washing laundry and making sure everything gets packed.

Enjoy your trip.

Should moleskin be on my list? I've definately heard that name tossed around here, but not enough to purchase it. See.....I would have forgotten that!! :guilty:

We took some and I have a piece to a lady behind me in funky sandals during the Lion King show but we never used any! We all were athletic shoes all week (my older running shoes-Brooks, DH-running shoes New Balance, and the kids all had on nikes) No blisters for anyone except the two year old who wore sandals! (we didn't know he had blisters until we got home :guilty: )

I used the ultimate packing list and it really helped me alot! I tend to get overwhelmed and start to scatter from one room to the next like a chicken with my head cut off! :hyper2: so staying focused was good. I started with my carry on bags. I read somewhere to lay everything out and I did that. I had the carry on stuff in the dining room and the other bags all upstairs. If I can help with anything else let me know. :wave2: I'm excited for you!!!
