Ok we are going Dec. 15-21 staying at the CR and I am stressing about my ADR's here they are

'Ohana 7:15pm-1st time
Raglan Road 6:15pm-1st Time
Coral Reef 4:50 Repeat and will be DS4 birthday dinner with diver and menu
1900 Park Fare 4:40 1st time will be getting a birthday cake
Garden Grill 11 am - 1st time
Kona 6:25 Repeat
CP-8:05 am oop 1st time

I am stressing that 1900 Park Fare hasn't gotten the best reviews since the refurb. Also I am thinking maybe Garden Grill is a bad choice but I don't know. We ate at CM in Feb. for dinner wasn't impressed with the food by DS wants to see Mickey. I was wondering if we should cancel 1900 and Garden Grill but then I don't know where to get his cake from. Here are the other places I considering changing too.

Boma - DH isn't too impressed with the menu he is a steak and potato guy
Capt'n Jack - how can you go wrong with lobster
Grand floridian Cafe - so we can still get a GF cake
Tutto Italian-never been
Le Cefs - never been
Concourse - Never been
Please give me your opinion or any other ideas. I would like to keep a character one so I guess we could do LTT again. Thanks:confused3

Well, I for one would NOT do GF Cafe -- AWFUL, TERRIBLE service -- we raked them over the coals for the bad service there on our survey.

Garden Grill rocks! WONDERFUL food!!! Great character interaction -- revolving restaurant is fun! LOVED IT!!!

'Ohana -- THE BEST! HAVE FUN!!!

If anything -- I would dump CP. We were so glad this was our first meal -- it just wasn't good. It only got better from there except for GF Cafe.

I've eaten at Ohana's, 1900 Park fare, Coral Reef and the Garden Grill. These were my thoughts:

Ohana's......amazing food, service, nice view of fireworks, best meal all week.

1900 Park Fare..........great food, bad service (slow drink refills, only saw him 2 times during the whole meal, needed help with Prince charming since we were done and he still didn't come over and the server just dissappeared), characters were okay. Cinderella spent only a minute with us. She was very rushed. Prince Charming didn't come over until 10 min. after we finished eating, mice came over several times and fairy godmother in the lobby with no line.

Coral reef......loved the steak, the tank, and the beautiful restaurant. Service okay.

Garden Grill.....we are not returning. Food too bland and plain, Mickey was out of character. Other characters were great. Service good.

I would switch Garden Grill, but keep the rest. Try not to stress too much. I'm sure it will turn out fine.

I have heard CP is much better for lunch than for breakfast.
Do NOT do Boma! This was the ADR I was super excited for the last time we went and my steak and pat DH was very upset with it. It ended up costing me because he ate another dinner when we got back to the hotel later that night. Yet he loved 50's and many others don't like this one. If you have a DS4 I think the playhouse Disney dine and dance is great at lunch.

You are, of course, going to get many mixed opinions. I think the best advice to offer is to not stress. Just stick with what you have and go and enjoy. Regardless of what you pick, you will have some good and some medicore meals and service, but the only opinions that will truly matter are the ones you form when you get there. What I hate you might love. What I love, you might hate.

That said... here are some of my views:

I consider Boma one of the best at WDW. Actually, I think it is the ONLY buffet at WDW worth eating at. You can get a wide variety of food choices that aren't the typical fare you'll find at the others.

'Ohana is also widely known for mixed reviews. I hated it, both times. Overall there were a couple of the "appetizers" and "side items" that were okay... dessert was also good. However, the meat selections and service were absolutely horrible - BOTH TIMES! (They do have great views and the mixed drinks are pretty good too! ;)

I can't comment on Garden Grill since I haven't eaten there. I try to steer clear of character meals these days. The food always smells good over there though.

1900PF... I can't comment on the food there either, but the service was horrible. I had an ADR for 2... we showed up on time, but waited 45 minutes as other people walked in without ADRs and were seated ahead of us. We ended up walking out and going upstairs to Citricos (which is awesome btw).

GFC - I was there for New Years Eve dinner and thought it was really good. The food was great, but I think the service was a little off, but we attributed it to the fact that the place was packed. It wasn't bad service, just a little slow. We'd definitely go back! Oh, 1 negative... I'm a dessert person and they only have the "mini-desserts"....

I am in the same position as I have stressed a ton over my ADR'S, anyways I would say stick with what you have. The reason being is, that although everyone here is completely helpful, only you are going to be able to go, eat, and decide whether or not you like each restaurant. You have pick these ADR's for a reason so stick with them. Everyone has there own favourite and taste so although we can suggest you in the long run are the only one who will really know. I have a ton of ADR's that I have never eaten at before that some people hate and some love ...so I am going with an open mind and just gonna try them.....Good Luck and Happy Eating !!!!
