Since attending this parade would require a change to our itinerary or some park-hopping,I'd welcome any opinions.

It's my favorite of all the parades. Great music and theming. I would definitely rearrange to be able to see the Jammin' Jungle Parade!

This is also our favorite parade. If you plan on leaving right after the parade I would suggest sitting near the doors to Island Mercantile right near the road to Camp Minnie Mickey, that way after the parade you can exit through the store. Saves a little time.

This is both my and my DH least favorite parades. My DH actually specified that he does not want to see this parade when we go in December. On the other hand, my DD7 loved this parade, but not as much as the others. DD15 thought it was boring and repetitive.

I do not think this parade is worth any special trouble, although I plan on seeing it again (I really love them all!). I know others disagree and that is OK.

Just saw the parade for the 1st time and loved it. The people/puppets reminded us of Tapestry of Nations - but on a smaller scale.

The parade and Lion King is the only reason to go to AK in our opinion.

We really enjoy this parade - however we take a different tactic than most people with regards to exiting the park after the parade. We watch the parade in "Africa". You can arrive as late as 4:30 and still see most, if not all of the parade from this point. Near the end of the parade we run and catch one of the last safari rides. The animals seem more active at the end of the day. If our timing is right, just as we get off the safari, we rush over to Pangani Forest Trail land take a very leisurly walk through. Usually we are one of the last to enter the trail and since we really enjoy taking our time and watching the animals, before long the trail is empty and it is just us strolling along this wonderful trail all by ourselves!

After we finish with Pangani Forest, we stroll over to the trail around the Tree of life - again taking our time to enjoy this quiet, peaceful trail all by ourselves. It usually takes us until nearly 6:00 to mosy our way out of the park. This year we have a 6:00 PS for Rainforest Cafe. It is a wonderful way to enjoy all the animals and trails and special quiet charm of AK without the crowds.

I probably should have kept this secret to myself - now it will get crowded, but it sure has been pleasant our last several visits.

Thanks for all of your help.

It's a cute parade, but I don't think I would rearrange my plans for it. I would o say the same thing about the MGM parade too. Again, it's cute, but nothing I would rearrange plans for.

If you do attend with small children, you may want to bring some ear plugs, as the music does get a bit loud when each float(car) goes by.
