We currently have a pre park opening breakfast scheduled for 8:05 in April. Any information about how this works now is greatly appreciated Will we be able to take the bus from Port Orleans Riverside and get there in time? What time will they let us in now that they are letting everyone onto Main Street early? Will we be able to see the new welcome show after our breakfast, or will we not be able to get into that area? Any information is greatly appreciated!

I did this 3 weeks ago from POR. Be out at your bus stop at 6:45. You will be let into MK at approximately 7:45 and everyone at 8:50. You will be given a paper that will allow you in to Fantasyland by checking with a cast member posted left of the hub. Pre order your food. You will have plenty of time to eat, then go back out to the hub the same way you went in, and you will be able to watch the welcome show. That's how it worked for me. The early mouse gets the cheese.

Don't know exactly what you were planning, but most people take advantage of this brft to try and ride 7DMT right after to get a jump start on the day. If you are able to get in line after brft, I would do that rather than go back to watch the show.

I agree with the 6:45 time recommended by the PP. We did a 8:00am PPO breakfast at BOG on February 2. We were at the POFQ bus stop at 7am thinking we had plenty of time. We must have just missed the MK bus because there wasn't one listed on the monitor. We were debating on calling for a lyft ride when a time suddenly showed up in the monitor for around 7:20ish. We watched that time get extended until the bus finally arrived at 7:45. In the meantime we watched multiple buses for the other parks come and go. We speed walked through security, the tapstiles and Main Street to the Hub where are names were checked in a list before continuing our speed walk to BOG. Thankfully we had preordered which saved a lot of time. After a leisurely breakfast we headed to the mine train at 8:45am expecting to line up for the 9am park opening but we're pleased to see that the ride was already open. We rode three times without any wait before 9am. Really happy with how it turned out but next time we'll either be at the bus stop much earlier or just plan on using lyft instead.

..but by going out to watch the welcome show you lose the advantage of jumping on mine train ahead of the huge crows you will join going back out

I realize most PPO BOG guests want to ride 7DMT but....not all do. We had a PPO ADR in December and we actually used the time after our breakfast to just enjoy a quieter stroll around Fantasyland. If the new welcome show had been happening then, we definitely would've back tracked to see it.

We used our early ADR to ride Peter Pan. It worked out pretty well. Had about a 20 minutes wait.

We were just there this past Saturday. We ate and were out of BOG by 8:30 and were second in line for 7DMT. The line looked long by the time they let us onto the ride (around 8:45), but I'm pretty sure everyone there could have gotten in a couple of rides even before 9am. We ended up just riding 7DMT once and then headed back out to watch the Welcome Show with plenty of time of time to spare. We then took the center spoke back through the castle after the show and walked onto Pooh (we used a FP for PP). Overall a very high value breakfast option for those of us who prioritize efficiency.

As for heading to the park, we did the following
7am: leave room
7:05am: catch bus (AKL)
7:30am: arrive at MK, check in with ADR people, go through turnstiles, wait at train station
7:45am: released from under train station, took advantage of photopass people on Main Street and in the Hub
7:55am: got to BOG...
everything went quite leisurely and I would highly recommend it.

I think one thing to keep in mind is that Disney sometimes changes park hours. I have read posts where people had PPO reservations at, say, 8:15, only to find that Disney then changed the opening time to 8:00. Totally undoing the advantage of an early reservation.

I hope it doesn't happen to you, OP, but it's good to know in advance that it's possible.

Does anyone know if they start any other fantasyland rides earlier than rope drop like they do for 7DMT?

I am worried about the same. Park hours could change at any time, correct? Even the week or day before?
