I'm in a panic. It's been soooo long I'm basically a 1st timer so i have no idea how ticketing etc works. Bought our tickets in Aug for December 30th. Got a confirmation email but now I don't see the tix or anything in MDE??? Now with the covid reservation rules I'm not sure if we can enter the park on that day. It's the only day we are there. Can anyone explain how this all works? Thanks!

You should be able to click the three bars lower right of the app, then click Tickets and Passes. Then click Link Tickets and Passes. There should be information in the ticketing email that you received with the ticket numbers to link. Once linked, you need to make park reservations ASAP if you have not done that already since parks are booking up.

OK so we bought 1 day tickets for MK that specific day (30th) Wouldn't that mean we are automatically "reserved" for MK that day? How can they confirm our tix if they're not really confirmed at all?

I am not sure about this. My understanding is when you purchase a 1 day ticket, you then have to go in after the purchase and make the park reservation. You can't buy a park ticket to a specific park. You buy a ticket and then make the park reservation after that (a separate step). You can't buy a "MK" ticket. Experts on here who know more than me will hopefully jump in! Are you at least able to load them into your MDE app now (link the tickets in the app to your account)? If so, you can click on "Future Plans" and it will show you if you have a park reservation for that day and for which park.

DH say we did link them and he doesn't want me messing with it. I've been on hold for just over 2 hours - I don't want to hang up but I'm afraid no one will ever answer. This is def not the magical experience I thought it would be LOL.

OMG I just looked at the email and it doesn't specify which park. OMG! OMG! OMG! What have I done!!!!

MDE is glitchy. If you are on a computer, check the app -- and vice versa. If you bought the tickets online from WDW, it probably automatically populated into MDE.

PP's are correct that you no longer purchase park-specific 1-day tickets. You need to make a theme park reservation for your 1st park of the day to guarantee entry. You may be able to "hop" to a different park, after 2pm.

I hope you were able to get your tickets linked and park reservation made. Sometimes the park reservations calendar will say a park is not available but then it is when you actually have a ticket and make the reservation (this happened to me with our upcoming Christmas time trip; calendar said only EPCOT was available to reserve but I was able to reserve AK).

Being stuck on hold for 2 hours should be grounds enough for Disney to make things right. You made an honest mistake with something new and very confusing. Being on hold for 2+ hours is totally unacceptable for any company, let alone one that used to pride itself on the quality of its customer relations.

Customer service is gone… along with fastpasses, lol.
Good luck OP!!!!!

sign in to your MDE account right now! Make a reservation for everyone in your party for ANY park that might be available. On Dec 30 you will first have to go to the park you have a pass for, then at 2 pm you can hop to another park if it’s available. Of course you would have to upgrade your ticket to a hopper.
